Chapter 11: Chill

Genevieve's POV

After namin mag-ayos ng gamit we went to the study room and I swear it was heaven for me.

All those complete editions of encyclopedias, first class maps and other apparatus. It was magical!

There's a long table in the middle of the room tas may ilaw sa taas nito. Axum already arranged the chemicals and other stuffs we got.

Lahat kami nandito sa study room except for Lux, Dashel, Gray and Jazer na nasa labas.

"Okay let's start studying the formula" excited kong sabi as I took my seat at naglabas na ng mga gamit.

Others did the same habang ang iba naman ay pinag-aralan ang iba pang mga bagay na related sa formula. 

"As far as I can remember the molecular formula na ginamit para magsimula ang isang zombie apocalypse ay C3H6O3 o tintatawag ding trioxine as a chemical compound." pag-eexplain ko sa mga kasama ko.

"Trioxin? That sounds familiar. Is this the one that has a molecular backbone consists of a six membered ring with three carbon atoms alternating with three oxygen atoms is that right?" tanong ni Axum na may halong pag-aalinalangan. Woah.  Napangiti ako ng palihim when he knew the compound that I was talking about.

"Actually, yes it is" wika ko.

"Hey what are you making sabi ba? Di ko ma-understand" pagtatanong ni Daniela habang nakakunot ang nuo. She looks like a lost kid.

"Okay as I said itong trioxin na ito ang dahilan kung bakit nagsimula ang mga zombies I've read that this compound has a yellow-ish, white-ish or green-ish color that can either kill or revive a person. "Tangina lalabas na ko" bulong ni Zafrina kina Brent at Daniela ngunit hindi ko ito masyado marinig.

"I'll make sama" pagsang ayon naman ni Daniela dahil tumango ito.

"Okay lang ba kayo parang nasusuka ata kayo?" sabi ni Nanne

"Hindi okay lang kami bigla lang sumama yung pakiramdam namin" habang nagpupunas ng pawis si Brent na mahinang binatukan yung dalawa. Napilitan namang tumango sina Daniela at Zafrina na hindi mo malaman kung ano ang itsura.

"Sa nababasa ko dito tungkol sa trioxin ginagamit daw ito ng mga soldier bilang isang gamot noong mga panahon ng Vietnamese war ayon sa isang article pero hindi na lang nila ito ginamit ulit dahil sa nakakapangilabot na pangyayari." basa ni Lance habang pautal-utal na nakatutok sa phone niya. Yung nakakapangilabot na pangyayari is when the person get's infected and becomes a zombie. They didn't get to study about it dahil pinatay na ito.

"Ginamit din nila ito para masira na ang marijuana plants" pagpapatuloy ni Nanne sa pagbabasa ng article habang prenteng nakaupo lamang si Kein tulad ni Zafrina. Magkaibigan talaga tong dalawang to'

"So what exactly is our next plan?" pagsasalita ni Zafrina habang pinaglalaruan ang isang ballpen.

"We will be revising the formula para maging cure ng zombies" pagsagot ko kay Zafrina.
