Prologue

Hindi nila matanggap na namatay ang kanilang unica iha na si Veronica Gorostiza. They were so depressed that they reached the point where they hired the best scientist and doctors all around the world to perform an experiment that has been done before but have always failed.

They will be defying the law of death. They hired them to make a formula that can bring back the dead. They were so desperate to bring back their daughter, and this was the only option left. The Gorostizas didn't even have to think twice to do such a thing.

"We are giving you maximum of eight years to finish the formula. Eight years." saad ng kanyang asawa at binigyan sila ng isang matalas na tingin na nagpapahiwatig na ayusin nila ang misyon na ito. They knew it would take long but they are only willing to wait up to eight years.

"Everything that you'll need will be provided. All of you will come back here in the Main Laboratory of Empire University after eight years to perform the actual experiment" dugtong pa nito at isa isang natapos ang pagpirma sa kontrata ng mga scientist at doctor na mukhang nag-aalinlangan. They have no other choice than to sign it. Now the deal is sealed.

"What if we get caught? The government does not allow such an inhumane deed!" angal naman ng isang doctor.

"That won't happen. We already got that covered. Now just do your job or else" seryosong pagbabanta ni Mr. Gorostiza at napatango na lamang sila. The Gorostizas are very powerful kaya hindi na sila nagtaka kung pati ang gobyerno ay kaya nilang paikutin sa mga kamay nila. They're the owner of Empire University for pete's sake.

Nilagay na nila ang bangkay ni Veronica after injecting some formalin sa isang human size freezer that was shaped like a capsule to preserve her corpse over the years. They made sure the dosage would be enough. They just have to re-apply it occasionally.

They need to complete the formula. Kaya naman sa mga taon na lumipas ay araw gabi nilang tinutukan ang paghahanap ng solution. Pinag-aralan nila lahat ng libro, articles, research, former experiments, and chemicals na kakailanganin nila.

After eight years...

They were the best of the best kaya hindi naging sobrang hirap ang pagbuo nila ng formula ngunit hindi rin ito naging madali. Hindi biro ang kanilang trabaho. Bubuhayin nila ang patay. Wala pang nakakagawa nito.

Kinakailangan na nilang bumalik sa Empire University kinabukasan. Kung tutuusin hindi pa sapat sakanila ang walong taon para tapusin ang formula. Ngunit aaminin nila malaki ang naging progreso. They managed to know almost everything to perform the experiment with a successful result. Ngunit kinulang pa rin sila sa oras. Hindi sila sigurado sa kanilang formula dahil hindi pa nila ito naisagawa sa literal na corpse para tignan kung tama na ba talaga ang timpla ng formula.

Isa isa na silang nagsidatingan sa Empire University with the most expensive cars and all. Nagtataka ang mga students ng EU at nagugulat dahil nakikilala nila ang mga famous na scientist at doctors.

'Anong ginagawa nila dito?' Ang pare-pareho nilang tanong and others were taking pictures and asking for autographs but they weren't given the attention they wanted.

They were here for business.

Pumasok na silang lahat sa Main Laboratory at naabutan nila ang mga Gorostiza. Ang pinakahead sakanila ay sinubukan sa huling pagkakataon na itigil na itong experiment na ito bago pa sila magsisi. He was down right sure na may kapalit itong gagawin nila.
