As we continued to pack my things, there were several moments where I had to stop. I wanted this- I really did, but I was going to miss mom and Ryan.

At the moment, I was sitting on the floor looking at a picture of the three of us. We were at the park, and mom and I were posing with Ryan behind us on the swings. It was taken a while ago, just after we moved to England.

I took a deep breath as I tried to calm myself down. Janessa sat down next to me and rubbed my back comfortingly.

"Amelia, you'll be able to call your mom every week. Heck, you can call her every day! They can both come over and visit every weekend if you like. This isn't good bye! And you'll be with your four best friends constantly... how could life get any better?" She joked. I nodded, not being able to reply. She reached for my phone and I nodded again, granting permission. She took it and unlocked it easily because I hadn't been bother to password protect it yet.

I saw her scroll through something and then type in something. She handed the phone back to me without locking it and I looked at the screen. It showed a contact titled 'Mummy' and it had my home phone number below it. I smiled at it and then thanked Janessa.

"No problem, Amelia! Now, go get changed, we’re almost done packing!" I laughed and stood up. I gently placed the picture into one of the cardboard boxes and turned to see what had been done already. All of the posters were folded and in a neat pile, my clothes were almost all put away, and my bookshelf was completely empty.

I walked over to Meredith. “What haven’t you packed yet? I need to get dressed.” Meredith acknowledged my presence by giving me a thumbs-up. Her eyes wandered the remaining clothes and she tapped her fingers on her chin. Suddenly, she grabbed a dress and shoved it towards me without thinking twice.

“You should totes wear this,” is all Meredith said before she grabbed more of my clothes for packing. I looked at the dress and smiled. This was one of my favorite dresses, and Janessa had given it to me a while back as a random present. It was a spaghetti strap dress with tribal-like stripes.

I nodded in approval. “What shoes?” I asked Meredith, who had moved out of the closet and was placing clothes in the suitcase.

“The Doc Martin’s I got you for Christmas!” Ariel exclaimed.

I knelt down and grabbed the shoes along with some socks. I closed the closet door and began to change out of my pajamas. Once I had slipped into the dress, I opened the door. I struck a pose and the girls clapped.

“Beautiful! But here,” Meredith took off the sleeveless jean jacket she was wearing and handed it to me. “It’ll look ten times better with this.”

I slipped on the vest and Meredith beamed at the outfit. “Totes,” was all she said as she turned back to packing.

I sat down on the floor and slipped on the shoes. Once I was situated, I looked around.

Ariel and Mattie were relaxing on my bed looking at their phones. "I found the website! It's not too expensive." Ariel showed her phone to Mattie, who in turn nodded. Ariel passed Meredith the phone and she squeaked.

"PERFECTAMUNDO!" Meredith yelled as she passed it to Janessa. Janessa's perpetual smile grew bigger and she handed me the phone next.

I stared in shock at the picture of the Bentley; I scrolled down the information page and gasped at the price. Way. Too. Expensive.

"Whaaaaaat?! No, no, no, no, no, no, no!" I scream- whispered to myself.

"What's wrong?" Mattie asked.

"How about we find something a bit cheaper, okay?"

Meredith sighed, "Oh my goodness guys, little bitty Amelia must be deaf!" She rushed over to me and grabbed my shoulders. "AMELIA- WE HAVE MONEY. WE ALREADY PAY FOR FLAT. YOU NO NEED TO PAY. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" She yelled in my ears.
