They all sleep over that night. To make the night just like old times, we all go up into the attic. It is empty because our new house has three different attics, and only two are being used. Now we are all outside, playing basketball on our full sized basketball court. It's me, Liz, Bella, Kiaya, and Alaina against Allie and the rest of the team. After about an hour, Allie's mom arrives with their stuff for the sleep over and we bring it all up to the attic. It's hot and stuffy up there so we bring some electric fans up with us. We lay out our sheets to sleep on because our sleeping bags are too hot! For hour we exchange stories once again. We eat bubble gym ice cream and see who can blow the biggest bubble. Liz wins, and has pink gum stuck all over her face. We laugh and talk all night until my mom comes up into the attic and explains that we need to "quiet down" because Camden can't sleep. We kind of quiet down, but it is very hard to to with eleven of your best friend in the room with you. Isn't it kind of impossible? We decide to watch a movie even though its midnight. We choose Divergent on Netflix and watch straight through to the end. Kiaya falls asleep, so we put my moms makeup all over her face, hiding her freckles. After a while all of my friends fall asleep. I still lay awake. Hot and wide awake. I sneak downstairs and sit on the couch, reading my book. I realize how nice it is to be alone sometimes.
