"Mom!" I scream. "Mom!"
"What is it?" Braden asks in a worried tone.
"Where's mom?" I am panting for breath.
"She just left, she's on a walk with dad, Camden, and Larry." He pauses. "What do you need?"
"It's Grandma." I hear the faint sound of her coughing in the background. "Hurry!"
He studies her for a minute. "Call 911." He decides.
I spring inside.
"911, what's your emergency?"
"My Grandma is having trouble breathing. Maybe a heart attack!"
"Where are you at?"
"7118 FireFoot Drive! What should I do until then?"
"Get her in a wheelchair, and get her to the front of the house."
I throw the phone down and sprint upstairs. I burst through Kelsey and Meghan's room without knocking on the white, wooden door.
Kelsey is sitting on her bed, next to Meghan in her wheelchair. Kelsey is trying to teach Meghan to read, The Cat In The Hat. I explain everything to them. Kelsey and Meghan both have exasperated looks on there faces. Together, Kelsey and I lift Meghan out of her wheelchair and into her bed. I quickly snatch the wheelchair, and without folding it up, I carry it downstairs. Quickly, I tug open the slider door.
"Help me!" I say.
Braden and I lift our now silent Grandma into the wheelchair. Her head droops against her chest. She is breathing, ever so slightly. We wheel her up to the front of the house, where an ambulance waits. They take her and Braden away.
