A week has past. I went to the doctor yesterday to check on my concussion. I was told that I can now attend my teams practices, but of course, I still couldn't participate. Hey, that's an improvement, right?
Kelsey has started going to school with me now. We gave her time to settle in, but she still needs an education. Luckily, we have all of our same classes together. I feel bad for her, she's so far behind us all. After all, she hasn't gone to school since she was in like second grade! She kind of taught herself, but that can only do so much.
Being in Kelsey's classes makes me get to know her more. We laugh and talk nonstop, even though she is considered shy. I now know anything and everything a best friend should know.
Now, I am walking to the gym for practice. I open the heavy metal doors and walk in slowly.
Everyone runs towards me.
"Are you ok?"
"Does your head still hurt?"
"Can you play yet?"
"We really need you back."
"By the way, we're still undefeated."
I try to answer everyone at once. "Yes, I will be ok. Yes, my head often hurts. No, unfortunately I can't play anymore this year. Thanks! I really missed you guys. I know your still undefeated. Braden went to every game and FaceTimed me the whole game!"
They groan.
I watch the practice. Afterwards, Alex and I walk towards the art room where Kelsey is working for an after school art club. She joins us and we walk home.

Sorry for the short chapter. I am almost done with school, so I will be able to post more often.
BTW: THANKS SO MUCH FOR GETTING ME TO 1K READS! You guys are amazing and I love you all! :D
In the beginning, I was writing this for my enjoyment only. Now, my friends inspire and encourage me to update. This story is now for your enjoyment! Thank you so much!
FYI: This story will probably be about 100 chapters long! Hopefully I will write a few sequels of the story. One will probably be in Kelsey and Meghan's p.o.v. The other will be when Linds plays on the boys soccer team! Please comment on which you prefer.
Anyway, Thanks SO much, and HAPPY SUMMER!!!!! :)
