We pull into the parking lot of our favorite pizza restaurant, Mike's Pizza. Kelsey and Meghan both haven't spoken. We ask them questions, but they only mumble. Clearly, they are uncomfortable, so we give up and sit in silence. We walk into the restaurant and my dad asks what the girls want on their pizza.

"Pepperoni, ham, bacon, sausage, cheese, and pizza sauce." Meghan whispers.

Kelsey elbows her. "Anything is fine." She she replays in the same tone as Meghan.

We find two tables, a large one for us kids, and a small one for my mom and dad. We sit in silence once again. The pizzas arrive and we distribute pieces to everyone. Meghan and Kelsey have a large pizza, with everything Meghan ordered on it. Braden and I share a large pepperoni pizza. Camden and my parents share a large cheese pizza. I glance across the table at Meghan. She is smiling as she chews. I notice the in only five minutes, both girls have devoured half of there pizza.

"You were hungry, weren't you?" They nod.

"Mama never fed us anything this good. Only bread and rice." Meghan says in her adorable voice.

That's horrible. Who has the heart to abuse and hurt such beautiful, innocent little girls? I hate my aunt for this, even though I've never met her. I've never met her, or anyone on my mom's side of the family. Now, I think I know why.

At home, I offer Kelsey and Meghan my room. I bring in an extra mattress and sheets for Meghan to place under my bed. Kind of like a bunk bed. Kelsey starts to refuse, but Meghan gives her a sad look, and Kelsey accepts.

"Where will you sleep?" she asks.

"In the attic." I reply. "I love it up there."

Kelsey nods. "Thank you." She makes Meghan's bed and changes her into the new nightgown that we just bought her. Together we help Meghan out of her wheelchair and into her bed.

"Night, Night!" Meghan says sweetly and falls asleep before my eyes. I smile, and to my surprise, so does Kelsey.
