At the Bar

Chapter 12 Taught

That night, the bar started to get busy, and Regina typically would work out front at the bar, or moving around to help out. She also just liked being around the people, and of course now that Killian and she were not hiding feelings, and actually being more than just flirting work spouses, she got to have fun with him. 

He was behind the bar, "So you wanted a lesson, in my trick," Regina swaggers next to him, holding a red starburst between her two fingers. The patrons at the bar turned their attention to in front of them. "Ok, if anyone didn't know this sassy woman is the owner, and we may or may not be ... together," Killian smirks playfully at her. "Hence this move I'm about to do," Regina pops the starburst in her mouth, and as usual, smoothly unwraps it. 

She pulls the wrapper from her mouth, the patrons of course grinning away as she smiles proudly at Killian, "Is that so?" he asks. Smoothly, and to Regina's surprise, Killian pulls her for a kiss. The patrons clap and of course get the attention of their four coworker shippers to notice what's happening behind the bar. 

With the starburst still in her mouth, as she was taken by surprise of Killian's passionate kiss, her mouth opens, and Killian takes the starburst. The group whoops as he pulls back from Regina's mouth holding the red candy between his teeth dancing his eyebrows up proudly. "Damn she's lucky," A girl at the bar says out loud. "Uhh yeah, that wasn't what I was going to teach you," Regina is completely off guard, which Killian loves.

"Oh pardon," he mumbles, "Here, now try it Mr. Expert," Regina hands him another wrapped candy. "Fine, and if I do it, shots?" He asks. "Ok, fine whatever you want," Regina smiles. "Ohhhh," The patrons are into it, and Killian pops the candy in his mouth. Regina leans against the bar, Ruby has come over and leans over it, with her tray in her hand. 

Killian smoothly, in his first try, pulls the wrapper from his mouth, and smiles at Regina. "Impressive," Regina smiles. "Shots then, I pick Rum," he smiles. "You know I don't do rum," Regina said. "Mm but you see, a challenge is a challenge," Killian smiles and pours two shots. "Round for us too," a guy says, "Us over here too," a girl says. "You have tabs?" Regina asks, "We do now if we have you two for entertainment," the girl smiles. 

"mmm, Come on," Killian hands Regina the shot glass, she rolls her eyes at him as he clinks his shot glass against hers, and takes the shot . She does and the rum burns her, she grits her teeth in a smile as Killian looks at her gloating. The patrons at the bar all order shots, "You know that may be good for business," Killian whispers. 

"It's nice to watch, can I get a bartender? Other people waiting," Ruby calls out. Regina walks to her, "He's loosened you up," Ruby says. "Ok, what do you need?" Regina asks. "Come on, that was great, and it would be really cute for business to have bartenders in a romantic relationship," Ruby said. "Ok, but don't go jumping your little prey too," Regina said. "I wouldn't dream of it," Ruby winks. 

Lacey heads out back for a moment, to her locker. "Getting hot out there," she says as Ruby comes into the locker area. "Yeah that's why I thought I would toss this," Lacey smiles and has a blue tank on now. "How are you doing by the way? Killian and Regina want to go on a date, Regina wondered if we could take care of the bar together one night, maybe we do what they do," Ruby winks. "Unwrap starburst? Or kiss?" Lacey asks. "Why not both?" Ruby shrugs. 

Ruby moved slowly into Lacey, not unusual, and Lacey opened her mouth softly, and Ruby's red lips landed softly on Lacey's light rose colored ones. Regina comes to the doorway and clears her throat, "Ok ok, we are not turning this place into a make out club, you two," Regina said. "You guys kissed," Ruby defends. "Fine, when you two cover the bar you can kiss too, just keep it to that," Regina said. "Thanks boss," Ruby grins. Lacey blushes as she laughs and they head back to work. 

Regina shakes her head, and smiles. She feels hands come around her from behind. "Was that crossing the line?" Killian's husky voice says softly in her ear. His scruff tickles her ear, Regina smiles, "Who's at the bar?" She asks, as she turns, his hands stay on her waist, "Graham, I just wanted to make sure that was ok, what I did," he said. "You mean sticking your tongue in my mouth?" Regina asks. 

"Yeah, that," he grins proudly. "I think you are going to drive me crazy," she said. "Possibly, you still have to now learn to do the beer trick. You take the shot, the beer bottle will be half empty by me, and you spit the shot into it, looking like you're chasing it with beer," He explains. "I know the process, I just didn't do it that time, because I was stupid," she said. "And to answer your question, yeah, that was ok," She smiles. 

"What's not ok is that we have to go back to work now, come on, and the girls are going to bartend Thursday so you can work your magic on that date," Regina said. "Excellent, I'll have to primp that day," He said. "Oh yeah? You already have a pound of gel in your hair, does it ever move?" She asks. "You'll have to find out," he winks. 

As the evening went on, Regina and Killian cutely tended the bar together, keeping mainly on their sides. Killian would cutely pass her from behind and touch her hips as he did before, but it was sweeter, he would softly rub his thumb on her hip as he did it. 

They joked with the customers and it was a good night. Regina could overhear girls at the bar say, "She's so lucky, he's so hot." She smiled to herself, and she did indeed agree with them. She was somewhat proud of herself that she was finally with her bartender. 

As the bar was cleaning up, Ruby, Lacey, and Elliot laugh, as  they come to the bar, "Ok geez, stop rubbing it in," Graham says. "What?" Regina asks. "Graham has no Gay dar, sadly he can't be a wolf now," Ruby says. "I didn't know Elliot was gay, and they won't let it go," Graham said. "How could you not know that?" Regina asks. "I don't know," Graham throws his hands up. 

"I think he's thrown off by recent events," Ruby looks at Regina and Killian, "What? Us?" Killian asks, "Well you two FINALLY being together, it's like a parallel universe, thanks for joining us in it," Ruby said. "We haven't even had our date yet," Regina said. "You're together," the other four say in unison. 

A/N-- So I used to bartend actually, and I also can do this starburst trick I have Regina do. Just a little trivia for you ;)
