"So much for my wanting it to be romantic," Killian groaned. Regina tried not to laugh, and they notice Ruby and Lacey still grinning at them. "Do you mind?" Regina asks, in a soft scold. "Right," Ruby laughs and shut Regina's office door, as they head off giggling.
"Ten Bucks," Ruby holds out her hand, "Ugh, fine, you won, they did on the first date, but I won from Graham," Lacey boasts. The pair head out front and greet Elliot and Graham who just arrived. "What did we miss?" Elliot asks, "Just Regina and Killian on the floor in her office," Ruby shrugs. "Pay up," Ruby holds her hand out to Graham, as does Lacey. "Damn, I could have sworn they wouldn't on the first date, especially here," he sighs. "Yeah you owe me 10 for the fact they did it here first," Elliot smiles.
"I really wanted it to be more romantic," Killian buttons a clean shirt that he had in his locker. Regina throws on a tank top that she has. They're so used to late hours, and being exhausted that they all typically keep clothes there to change. Regina smiles at him, "Well, I'm the one who initiated it," She said. "So it's your fault? I like that," He smiles. She shakes her head at him, "Well, I mean, was there really a point in delaying it?" She asks. "I guess not, but I would like it to be more romantic next time, like making you dinner at my place?" He suggests.
"You do not cook," She scoffs. "Actually.. I do," he smiles at her, "I cook quite well actually, one of my hidden talents," He boasts. "Yeah well I got one of those talents last night," She grins. "Mmm," he steals a sweet kiss, nibbling her lips, "You are just going to surprise me all the time huh?" Regina asks. "Perhaps," he shrugs.
"Regina?" Graham knocks on the door. "What?" She asks, and he pops his head in, "Sorry, can one of you spot me twenty bucks?" He asks. "What did you do lose a bet?" Killian scoffs, "Uhhh sort of," Graham said. "Why do I get the feeling that you all bet about us?" Regina asks. "Well...." Graham shrugs.
Killian and Regina shake their heads, "It's like we have four kids already," Regina rolled her eyes. Killian's eyes widened at her, "What? Oh calm your blood pressure," Regina scolds. "So can I have it?" Graham asks, Killian shakes his head and hands him money, "Thanks, Dad," Graham grins. "Shut up," Killian scolds. "Sounds like my dad," Graham heads out.
Killian rolls his eyes exasperated, "What was that?" Regina asks, "What?" He asks. "That, you getting all anxious, I was joking, those four are like kids," Regina said. "I know, I wasn't freaking out," Killian shrugs. Regina crosses her arms at him, "Besides we literally just did it for the first time, and with protection, I don't think we have to worry about that right now," Regina said. Killian smiles, "I mean, we don't have to rush things," She quickly defends. "Relax Regina, I'm not scared off from commitment, I waited 5 years to admit I liked you, and kiss you, and I already love you, so," he shrugs, with a casual smile.
Regina feels her breath heave a bit, as her corners of her mouth go up into a soft grin. "Just, I'm in this for the long haul with you, so I'm not going to be afraid of talking about our future," he said. "Oh we have a future?" Regina asks, "yeah, just not four kids," he winks. "Maybe two," he shrugs. "OH yeah?" she tilts her head. "Yeah, your baby would be beautiful," he said. "Well it would have your genes too," She said. "Eek, that would have quite the tempers," he smiles.
The day gets going, it's early and things aren't busy. A woman rushes in the door, with a toddler in her arms, no more than 2 years old. "Excuse me? Can I possibly use that phone? Mine is dead and I have a flat," She says quickly. "Oh, sure," Killian puts the bar phone up on the bar for her. She places the toddler down, "Thanks," she said quickly picking up the phone to dial.
Regina is part way down the hallway, and notices the little girl on the bar, as the mother is on the phone. "Hi," Killian says in a sweet soft tone. Regina stares now, leaning against the door frame of the hallway. "Do you want to tell me about your doggy?" he asks sweetly, the toddler holds a stuffed dog, "Ara..." the toddler says softly, Killian's eyes dance upward at the little girl staring at him. Regina can't help but feel warm inside.
"I see you," Ruby comes behind her, "What?" She asks quietly, "Watching him with a little girl? Is your ovary bursting?" Ruby asks. "Little bit yeah," Regina doesn't deny, and places her hand on her lower abdomen. "How is he just so naturally good at everything?" Regina asks. "He's not, but he has some charm, plus little girls like guys like him," Ruby said. "What do you mean?" Regina asks, "Kids can tell when a guy is tough and strong on the outside but soft on the inside," Ruby said. "They have a sense, kinda like me, they smell it," Ruby said. "You smell very different things than that little toddler," Regina said. "Well she'll get there, this is where it starts," Ruby grins.
Ruby heads back to work, as Regina, tucks herself around the corner continuing to keep her eyes locked on the cute pigtailed toddler sitting on the bar. "Oh," the mother sighs, "Thank goodness, my brother can be here in ten minutes," she's relieved, "Can I get you or the little lass something?" Killian offers. "Pretty sure you don't have anything back there for her," the mother laughs, "Uhh actually we do have milk," Killian offers. "Oh that would be great, that makes sense mixed drinks," she nods.
Killian gets a small cup for the child. "Uhh, you may want a straw," Regina pops up next to him as he places the milk in front of the little girl. "Right," Killian smiles. Regina smiles at the little girl, "Looks like mom needs a glass of wine," Regina said. "Oh... it's well it is 2 pm, I guess that's ok," she shrugs. "On the house," Regina nods as Killian pours a glass of wine for her. "Thank you so much," the mother nods.
Killian follows Regina to the side of the bar, "Spying?" he asks. "Well I just had to make sure that little girl didn't want to steal you," Regina grins playfully. "Mm, she's cute," Killian smiles. "Yeah she is," Regina sighs. "Ovaries exploding?" he winks. "Jerk, you know you're cute, you're so natural with her," Regina said. "Well I do have a way with ladies," he boasts. "She's 2," Regina scolds. "Same thing, you just ask them what they like, she has a cute toy there, I asked about it, give a sweet smile, no different than you really," he smiles, "Well then again," his eyes look down her chest. "Stop that." She scolds. "You love it," he winks.
