"Look who's rolling over!!" Regina said cheerfully at her daughter. Molly was now starting to move around, mainly rolling from her back to tummy, occasionally getting her arm stuck, but it was a work in progress. She was now over five months old.
"Ok, so tonight is the night," Killian said. "For what?" Regina pretends to have no idea what he's talking about. "We discussed this, it's time for her to go into her nursery," He said. "I already moved the crib in her room, checked the thermostat, got her a noise machine, and basically covered everything so that you have no excuse," He smiles. "What is that supposed to mean?" She puts her hand on her hip.
Killian tilts his head smugly, "You have been making every excuse in the book to keep her in our room, and now it's time for her to be in her own," he said. "She's just a baby," Regina pouts. "Mmm, you sure it's just her?" He teases. "Shut up," She hits his arm. "Come on Regina, we have to be so quiet when we even try to do enjoyable activities," He said. "I can't believe you call it that, just say fucking like you want to say," She said. "You kiss me with that mouth?" He picks up the baby from her play mat.
"Come on, she has to sleep alone, in her own room, which is lovely," He said. Regina sighs, and Molly wiggles cutely on Killian's shoulder. "Well..." Regina begins. "We have a monitor, she sleeps great," he said. "You have to have a balance, you know adult time, baby time, our space, her space," he said. "Stop reading books, I don't like you knowing things," Regina says.
He rolls his eyes dramatically, "I have balance, we go to work," Regina defends. "Work where Molly is with us for at least 4 hours of it," He said. "And then she's away from us for 8," Regina adds. Killian groans, Regina tends to always have a last word, and some excuse, he understands it's her first baby, "Come on honey, you can do this," He said. "It's not about me," She shakes her head.
"It's entirely about you, Molly will be fine," He said. "How do you know that?" She asks. "Because, she's a baby," he nods. "I don't like this whole thing, we'll talk about it later," Regina sasses. They head to work, and of course the group seizes the baby in Regina's arms as she steps in the bar.
"So we have news," Elliot says. "Oh?" Regina asks, "Us too," Ruby adds. "Us?" Regina asks. "We're getting married," Elliot said. Regina and Killian look at them confused, "Lacey is marrying me, David is marrying Elliot," Ruby explains. "OHH!! That's wonderful!! I love weddings! Champagne after we close," Regina smiles. "Thanks Regina," Lacey grins, "Finally got the wolf to settle for a bookworm," Killian teases, "Ass," Ruby snaps. "You love it, Congrats," he kisses her cheek heading by. "And you two, will have beautiful kids," Killian smiles at Elliot.
"You know we could, we talked about it, surrogate, or something," Elliot said. "Ah brilliant," Killian nods. "We could do something like that, get a .. donor," Lacey shrugs cutely, holding Molly, "And have one of these? Look at the hands," Ruby smiles, playing with Molly's fingers.
The shift went on, Killian and Regina were all over each other behind the bar. Regina was feeling really great lately, and they were both sleeping more. "Mmmm, mmm," Killian groans, not even realizing when Regina's tongue when in his mouth, not that he minded. The group around the bar was fun and laid back and just enjoying themselves. They didn't mind the little entertainment of the sexy bartenders in front of them.
"You know.. we .. have to talk about getting married," She says in between kisses. "Well I was waiting until you felt back to normal, and sexy again, I know you didn't feel great after the baby, even though you're absolutely gorgeous no matter what," He said. "Yeah well I'm feeling pretty good now, and the rest of them are getting married, we can't let them get married first," She said.
The pair get into their apartment at 2 am. Cora has been watching Molly that night. "Umm Mom, we're planning the wedding now," Regina said. "Ah, well good, better late than never," She says. "Always have to make a comment?" Killian asks, "My daughter gets it from me," Cora said. "Mm, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree do they?" He smirks. "Killian, how's Molly, mother?" Regina changes the mood.
"She went back down a little bit ago, in her room," Cora said. "You got her in on this?" Regina asks. "Goodnight Cora," Killian forces a smile as she heads out the door. He quietly closes it behind her, and turns, Regina is gone. "Difficult woman," he sighs and heads where of course she was going.
Regina started to head into Molly's room, but she's tugged back, "Regina, No, she's asleep," he said. "I just want to see her," she whispers. "No, let the baby sleep, you can see her from here," he says as they peak through the open door. "Is she breathing?" Regina asks, "Oh Regina, yes, she is, she's fine," He said. "Come on," he tugs her a bit.
"Well, wait..." He sighs and walks past her, tip toeing into the room, to calm his own nerves, he stares at her, making sure she is ok, he sees the soft sleeper move up and down and the pacifier in the baby's mouth move slightly. He comes quietly out, Regina crosses her arms. "What? You got me worried when you said breathing, let's go," He said.
"Now, what should we do since we don't necessarily have to be crazy quiet?" He asks, leaning over her. "Mmm, You're bribing me huh?" She asks. "Damn right," he nods. Slowly, as he grins, he lowers his head, kisses her tummy and looking up at her, he lowers his head downward, "Mmm," she tips her head back enjoying.
4 am, Killian woke up and Regina was not near him, he went to Molly's room and indeed Regina was in there sitting in the rocking chair sound asleep, Molly was asleep and Killian picked up Regina and carried her back to their bed.
Molly amazingly slept until 7 am. They both woke up to Molly's crying at 7 am, "you brought me to bed," Regina said, "of course, you sneak," he said as she smiled at him. "Well Molly did great," Regina said picking up Molly, "mmm we have to work on Mommy," Killian said, "you did last night," Regina winked.
