"Well you look nice," Elliot greets Killian in the morning at the bar. "Oh yeah? I guess it's good you say that," Killian smirks. "Listen you're not my type," Elliot said. "Well I'm not gay, so yeah," Killian shrugs. "Mmm, no, more than that, you're not my type," He said. "Really? Why not?" Killian asks.

"What are we talking about?" Graham puts a box at the bar, "Elliot says I'm not his type," Killian said. "Really? Even I think he's cute," Graham teases. "Shut up, you're too scruffy for me," Killian said. "You're scruffy," Graham defends. "So ok, what is the type?" Killian asks. "Blonde, built, tall, pretty boy type," Elliot said. "Well, I guess we don't count as pretty boys," Killian said.

"Not with that scruff," Ruby comes in. Killian and Graham both touch their faces, "So your type is a pretty chiseled model with no hair?" Graham asks. "Something like that, kind of your prince charming," Elliot said.

"So tonight is the date with Regina?" Lacey asks. "Yeah, umm where is she I'm wondering she's usually not his late," Killian said. "Speaking of," Ruby nods towards the door, and it opens. Regina has a fitted red dress, something none have seen her in before, "Sorry I'm late," She says, and the group all drops their jaws.

"What?" She shrugs. "Uhh," Killian groans. The others look at him, "You look stunning," He spits out. "Well, I .... isn't it our date tonight?" Regina asks. "Ummm, yeah," he nods, gazing at her figure in the dress, her hair cutely curly as usual. "I have a feeling that dress isn't staying on long," Ruby says. Regina rolls her eyes, "ok back to work," she scolds and walks to the bar.

She smiles, and Killian nibbles his lip, "You went all out, trying to beat me?" He asks. "No, you look cute, I like that shirt, is that a new vest?" She asks. "Yeah," he smirks. "Ok get a room please," Ruby said. Killian sighs and pushes back from the bar. Regina starts to head back to her office. Killian's eyes trail up and watch her legs and hips swish back and forth. "And to think you have to wait 7 hours," Ruby teases. "Shut up," he scolds.

Regina doesn't spend as much time in the bar area that day, as to kind of increase anticipation for the date. She gets things and budgeting and orders done in her office. She keeps glancing at the clock, wondering why it feels so slow to her. "Come on," She sighs out loud. "Impatient?" Ruby waltzes in. "What are you doing in here? back to work," Regina says. "You know it's slow, it's only 4 pm, not even happy hour," Ruby said.

"Ok, so then be honest, how do I look?" Regina asks. "Are you kidding? Did you see the way he looked at you? I thought he was going to drool on the bar," Ruby said. "Ok, but it's not too much? I don't even know where he's taking me," Regina said. "Regina it's great, I would eat you," Ruby grins. "Ok ok," Regina laughs.

As the time progresses, it's finally reached 6 pm, Regina sits in her office and a small knock on the doorway, Regina's eyes gaze up and Killian stands there. "Hi," she says. "You ready?" He asks. "Umm yeah," Regina stands up, and shuts her desk light. As she walks to him, he reveals a red rose from behind his back. "Now I think you went all out," she smiles. "I can be romantic, not just getting candy from your mouth," he said. "That's kinda romantic," Regina shrugs. "True," he smiles.

Regina takes the rose and smells it a moment. He offers his arm, and she slips her hand through, and they walk down the hallway. Lacey and Ruby are cutely behind the bar, and Elliot and Graham around the room. The four pause and look at Killian and Regina walk through. "Bye you two!" Ruby calls out. "Goodnight," Regina smiles and heads out with Killian. He flashes a grin at everyone, at the door, "Be good kids," He says and leaves.

"So? Where you taking me?" Regina asks. "You shall see," he said. "You're not going to tell me?" She asks. "No, but you're dressed quite appropriately," he said. "Really?" She tilts her head. He grins. She follows him, and he leads her to an area of town, and she sees lights and a ferris wheel. "Are you taking me to the boardwalk?" Regina asks.

"Yup, fun, cotton candy, ferris wheels, games, I can win you a teddy bear," he said. "Are you full of surprises or what?" Regina laughs. "I try, and I thought, that this would be something different, fun, easy to be spontaneous with, and can make you feel like a kid again," he said. "Yeah? Go on bumper cars with me?" Regina asks. "Oh I'll bump you baby," he winks.

Killian and Regina cutely move around the boardwalk. Regina plays whack a mole and wins a little stuffed crocodile, Killian knocks over bottles with a baseball and wins Regina a soft fluffy heart. "Ok, come on, Ferris wheel," He said. "In this?" Regina looks at him, "Come on, you did bumper cars in this dress," he said. "It's chilly," She shrugs.

Killian cutely takes off his jacket and puts it on her. She shifts, "You're afraid of heights aren't you?" He asks, with a smile. "Well, I mean, that just looks not... put together right," She said. "I assure you it's safe, come on," he said. "Really?" She asks. "Yeah, you can even dig your nails into my arm," he said. "I'm not that afraid," She defends.

They sit in the ferris wheel cart, "No seatbelt?" Regina asks anxiously, "No sweetie, just hang on," He puts his arm around her, and she naturally holds his leg, he smiles at her being so nervous. The tough boss, who doesn't take crap from drunk patrons, is afraid of the ferris wheel. He finds it endearing and sweet. "Ah!" She gasps, as the ferris wheel moves and starts to take them up.

Regina's eyes move around, nervously at first, as they go higher she can see a lot of Seattle. "Wow," She says. "Yeah, beautiful isn't it?" He asks, and her eyes travel around, and she looks at him realizing he meant her. "Me?" She asks. "Well, yeah, I mean the city is beautiful, but, I think you're more," he said. She smiles at him, and the wheel stops, "Oh my god, what is it doing?" She gasps. "It stops at the top honey," He said. Regina looks around anxiously, "We're just going to sit up here?" She worries.

"Just for a minute yeah, you're ok," he rubs her shoulder, and gently takes her face in his hand, "I can distract you," he said, with a smile, and he pulls her gently for a kiss. She forgets that she's high in the air, and kisses him. She's warm, in his jacket and his arm, with his kiss making her warmer.

The wheel jolts to move again, and breaks their kiss with Regina taking a breath, she stares at him, "See? Not so scary right?" He asks. "No, I would do that again," She nods.
