I kept looking at Beth our whole drive. she blushed. "see something you like?" I turned back to the road. "I might haha" she laughed more. "ok where to first your highness?" I asked her. She looked at me in confusion. "your highness?" I laughed. "problem?" She shook her head. "um grocery stores first? See if we can find food and clothes for everyone. we also need more formula and diapers. maybe we could get some paint and paint the cells! make them more homey" I looked at her. "beth were not painting ours pink." She giggled. "no we'll paint robin and Judith's room pink." I laughed hard. "I don't think Bryce will like pink" "he can bunk with Austin haha" I smirked. "ok well fill the truck up as much as we can then put the cover over the box and lock it then head to the farm and see if we can stay there for the night." we hopped out of the truck and headed to the baby section. I filled my shopping cart with formula and Beth filled hers with diapers and other baby needs stuff.

She unloaded while I studied the area. we haven't seen a single walker all day. I think their dieing out from lack of food. I hope that's the case. Beth finished up. "lets go to pharmaceuticals now ok?" I stared at her. "for what" she sighed. "John us girls need womanly products." I fake gagged and she hit my shoulder. "shut up it's a way of life get used to it." she hissed. she seemed pissy. Must be coming. I laughed to myself and she glared haha it must be. I was curious. "when's yours Beth" I teased. "I still have two weeks lay off" she was mad about something then. "Beth what did I do?" Her face fell, "oh no John you didn't do anything Im just dead tired lets see if that truck over there has gas. it would be nice to get all those supplies In there." I nodded and ran over there. it was almost a full tank. I ran the keys to Beth and we went In again. to the clothes now. we went to the women's and men's sections and grabbed anything that would fit anyone in our group. I made special trips for Carl, I knew he'd want some cool graphics and funny comical shirts. he was still a teen boy. I grabbed a couple for me and Austin too.

I looked at Beth she was grabbing lots of clothes for the girls. lots of panties and bras too. she lingered In lingerie. she pulled out a separate bag and started putting stuff into it. I laughed and her head shot to me and she dropped the bag blushing. I started grabbing more clothes. she filled hers to and we headed out again. we put the clothes into the truck again."we'll fill this one the rest of the way with food, get the medicines and 'hygiene products' razors shampoos all that stuff, in the other truck. then full it with more food. if there's lots of supplies left over well the group where to get more on the next run." she nodded.

After we filled the trucks and were heading out Beth spoke up. "were not going to the farm are we." I looked at her. we will tonight, we just have a lot of supplies here that are to risky to let sit in the open. well drop these trucks off and leave in the car. sound like a plan?" She smiled then jumped in the other truck and started to follow me. I didn't like her riding alone it put me on edge and I hate it. I kept glancing back at her to make sure she was still there. we finally got to the prisn and Carl opened the gate wideyed. "where did you find that other truck. it's huge." I laughed. "here I got you some comic books and I pulled game boy out if my pocket. battery powered video games haha. it ain't much compared to nowadays video games but it's something." he thanked me. I handed him another one. "And this is for bailey... you should talk to her carl, she feels like you guys are drifting apart." He sighed. "I know but I don't want another amazing girl in my life so I can lose her too. I think I love her John. and I don't want to hurt her ya know." I looked him in the eye. "Carl you can't hurt her more then you already are. I did the same thing to Beth and it was hard for her to forgive me. be the man your mom wanted you be Carl be brave be tough but still be smart." he nodded and ran to bailey. "I'm so sorry." he he pleaded with her. she looked in shock, then hugged him tight. I smiled and looked to Beth.

"Are we going yet dixon?" I laughed. "eager are we greene?" she giggled. "more then you think." I picked her up and ran for the car. "see you all tomorrow.!" I yelled from the gate. "easy with her John!" daryl yelled back. I smiled. "didn't think she'd be quiet enough in the guard tower gotta take her into town." I heard daryl say to Glenn and maggie. They were all laughing. I sent a playful glare and flipped them off. Beth started to laugh hard. I kissed her and set her in the car. I got In the front seat. "you ready for an adventure babe?" I looked to Beth. she grabbed my hand. "I love adventures." I closed my hand around hers and drove down the dirt road. the windows were down and we were listening to a cd. her hair was blowing, and she was smiling ear to ear. we were happy we were ready for anything. I can't believe I'm saying this in a zombie apocalypse.
