We've been staying here for four months now. Beth's stomach is getting huge. Hershel said she will be do any day now and I'm growing excited. Cruz and Judith are crawling now. getting into every thing. Ridley is Herat broken because Josie is gone. we've lost lots of people to the sickness it spread like wildfire and most people from Woodbury didn't make it. I had to stay away from Beth and all of the kids for along time, even though I never got sick.

I laid back down and tried to sleep when I heard a quiet "ow" I jumped out of bed. "Beth? beth are u ok!" she smiled small "yes john. slow down I'm fine just take me to my dad ok." I went to her side of the bed and picked her up bridal style and ran down to Hershel's office. Beth groaned again in pain and I felt my arm get soaked. " Beth..." she looked up at me scared. "john I- my water broke" I suppressed a smile. "I know" she smiled shyly and looked up at me. "are you ready?" I kissed her forehead. "Beth I don't know if I would've ever been ready but I'm going to protect you and this baby with my life."

BETHS POV

I lifted my head up and kissed john full on the lips and I got butterflies in my chest again. every time I'm near him I can't get enough. I love him more then he can understand. and now I have another john to love...

JOHNS POV

I laid Beth onto the bed and ran to Hershel's room and banged on the door. he wobbled out of the room slowly. I was panting and breathing

heavy. "your gunna be a grandpa!" she looked surprised and started down the hallway quickly. I stood there frozen. how did he move so fast with one leg. he popped his head out the door. "are we delivering a baby or what?" I nodded and stumbled his way and was hit by something into my side. Maggie came barreling out of her room in her pjs. "did you say baby!!" I looked at her and nodded and she embraced me in a hug.

Beth was panting on the bed and she saw us and screamed. I winced bringing back memories of my old home. if you even call it a home. she looked at me in pain. I frowned and looked to Hershel and he busied me out if the room "just wait out here ok." I looked in shock and sat on the floor and I heard Beth screaming and I shoved my head into my hands. does it hurt that bad? her screaming was making my body ache and tremble to be there and confront her. I heard crying and I stood up and waited for them to unlock the door and they never did. I heard Beth scream again. "are you being serious!" As loud as she could. I knocked on the door hard and started to yell "let me in now I need to be there!" I heard heard Hershel walk to the door. "in a minute john ok" I growled. "no right now Hershel." Beth started to scream again and I started to run at the door. it broke off the hinges and saw Maggie holding my baby I walked over to her and looked down.

"It's a girl" Maggie whispered. I looked at her and Maggie was smiling and had tears in her eyes. she wrapped our baby in a blanket and handed her to me. she was so precious and small with bright blue eyes and her blonde hair she looked like beth. I looked over to Beth smiling and my smile faltered. her face was all scrunched up and red. I looked to Hershel and saw him still at the end of Beth's bed. I looked to Maggie in alarm and she calmed me down. she's fine john there's just one more baby. I handed our girl to Maggie and walked to Beth's side to hold her hand.

She looked up at me and squeezed my hand hard. I didn't even know she was that strong. it hurt like hell. "Beth, Beth it's ok." she nodded and pushed again. and squeezed hard. I felt my hand numbing when I finally heard the crying. I looked at Hershel and he smiled. "its a boy." Beth let go of my Hand and I went to grab my son. our son and brought him to Beth she smiled down at him and her eyes lit up. I smiled back and Maggie handed Beth our daughter I looked down at them, my family.

Daryl came rushing in with Cruz and cj was close behind them. He handed me Cruz and took my son from me and looked at him. Daryl froze when he looked at him. "he has moms dark curls. But he has your eyes." I froze mom had dark hair? I don't remember her much. he hugged me and Cruz giggled and touched his cousins hand Daryl chuckled "so what's little ass ki-" Daryl glanced at Beth and saw the other baby. he blinked a couple of times before saying anything. "What the hell?" I smirked and Beth giggled. "you have a niece and a nephew." c.j grabbed the baby from Beth and snuggled it close.

I looked to Beth. "we need names" she smiled. "I like Carson Dale Dixon."

I looked up at her. dale she remembered I had a lose connection with dale before we lost him. "we should put Otis in there too. "she let a tear fall. "Carson dale ottie Dixon" she nodded. "I like it" I agreed "and how about my girl?" Beth looked to me on this one "I like melody Amy Patricia Dixon." Beth nodded softly these names had there own characteristics and names of loved ones we've lost. Maggie and Hershel smiled once more and left us be and Daryl and cj handed us back our kids and left. I kissed Beth on the cheek. "I love you." she whispered. "I'll love you forever." I told her.
