What Now?

I woke up to the blinds open ad the sun shining in my eyes. Beth was starring at the wall in nothing but my t-shirt and she looked terrified. she had her hand wrapped around something. "beth... what's wrong." her head shot towards me like she didn't know I was up. I saw a tear go down her cheek and she stared at the wall again. I pulled her towards me and she jumped out of my reach onto the floor. she pulled on her pants and walked to the door she placed the thing from in her hand on the end table and ran out. I could here her sniffles from where I sat. I stood up to see what she left. it was the one we grabbed from that box after we threw one to nick and Ridley. it wasn't even opened. I tensed up I fell to my knees and put my head in my hands. I was frozen.

LUCY'S POV

I heard running upstairs and I went to check it out. I saw Beth running down the stairs with tears in her eyes. what the hell. I ran out to my mom and...merle? my mom was watching the little kids. And Merle was keeping her company. their was only two. "mom, I think something happened with the new people." She looked at me curiously. "your uncle new people?" I sighed and glared at the man who is supposedly my father. "ya!" I snapped. she glared at me and Merle looked broken. I turned on my heel and ran to the house. ill help him I don't need them. I walked into their room and saw John on the floor with his head in his hands. "woah woah are u ok?" I dropped to his side and lifted his head out of his hands. and I saw something shiny. I picked it up then immediately dropped it. it was an unopened condom. I giggled. "did the condom break your realtionship haha not the right size so u never got laid." his head slowly went up. "I uh did..." I gasped and his head fell again. "you didn't use it..." He glared at the floor. "no I didn't it was a stupid mistake that I made and if I lose Beth it's one I'm gunna have to hold onto forever. I just hope it didn't start anything." I looked at him sadly. "like get her pregnant."

He tensed up and nodded his head slowly. he got up quickly and ran down stairs. "Merle you lazy son of a-" I saw him glare at John. "don't you start John." he groaned. "whatever start packing were heading for the prison" he snapped and I looked at Merle. "were going to a prison?" he sighed. "ya it's cleared and it has high fences. I want what's best for these people" of course just the people, he don't care about anyone. "and my family his eyes dropped as he looked at me and my mom. wait a second. "lets start packing then. I hid my emotions and ran in the house.

BETHS POV

I say under the trees and cried. this can't happen it shouldn't happen. if I am pregnant then this poor baby has to live in this world. it shouldn't have to grow up in a world where in a matter of seconds the baby could lose his mom or dad. I placed my hand on my stomach and looked down. what am I gunna do. "Beth?" I heard the angelic voice of the man I loved. but I couldn't face him yet. I climbed the tree and hid out of sight. He didn't see me. but he did something that made me stay in this tree longer. he sat down and got up quickly again. "fuck. what have I done. Beth I'm so sorry " he punched the tree and cried out in pain. he tore the skin off and his fingers were at weird angles. He sat down and put his head in his hands. "I'm such a fuck up." He whispered his body lightly shook and I knew he was crying. I've seen him cry.

I climbed down the tree slowly. I lifted his head up and he stood wrapping me in his arms. "Beth I'm sorry I forgot it's my fault. just please forgive me. maybe nothing will come maybe we'll be fine." I looks into his eyes, and it was the first time I might actually want the baby if their is one. "John it's ok and your not a fuck up. I forgot to it's ok." he say down and pulled me down to I snuggled into him. "I am tho Beth I'm a screw up. my dad knew it Merle and daryl both know it and I do to. And if u are ...um pregnant then you should to." he placed me on the ground and walked back to the farm. I sat their in shock as I walked him walk away again.

JOHNS POV

I wanted to stay with her and talk I just couldn't do it anymore it was hard and I didn't want her to get hurt. we finished packing and Merle was trying to figure out who rides where when walkers came out of the trees surrounding everyone. "walkers!" I heard Ridley scream. her Beth nick and the twins got in the carols car. Beth glance my way and I ran... In the opposite direction. I ran Into Lucy and her mom. "lets go Merle's got us a car already I followed them as Lucy picked up the little boy. watching his mom get eaten alive. that poor kid. we jumped in the car.

Cole and barret got In the last car with Caleb as we watched Doug get torn apart protecting Lilly and his little girl. that poor little boy lost his whole family. whatever it's the zombie apocalypse people need to toughen up. Beth and Caleb's cars followed behind us and we stopped to grab more supplies if we were bringing this many people back. I saw seeds and decided to grab them. I saw Beth out of the corner of my eyes slipping pregnancy tests into her pockets. I turned around and went back to the car and waited for everyone. we started to drive down the dirty road and I could see the dusty road. here we go, home sweet home.
