We walked up to gates armed and ready to kill walkers. we've only seen a couple of them so far. the governor said I was a good shot. I didn't really want to join another group but I had the feeling if I said no I would've been dead. the look in his eyes told me he was dangerous but he had a group to back him up I was a goner if I turned on him. he opened the gates and led me inside it was like any other town before the apocalypse. Kids were playing in the streets and people were having a BBQ. how did try get all this luxury. "we'll set you up in the house we sent the most recent new people for now. Feel free to take a shower and borrow any clothes that are In there. I hope you enjoy it here. and please report to me as soon as possible to figure out your wall duty." with that he left. what wall duty though it all made no sense.

I looked around the room and could tell the tenant was a girl. I shook it off and ran into the shower. the warm water was amazing and made me realize how much I missed them. after I was done scrubbing I walked back into the room in my boxers to go through the clothes. their were two ladies in the room starring at me. I stood frozen looking at the woman closer to me. she had darker skin and lots of braids. and a wicked looking katana. I stared at it until she noticed. "what you looking at?" I looked away and saw the other girl. Andrea?

She looked at me in shock and ran forward wrapping her arms around my neck. "john!" I pushed her back and stepped away. I have her a slight smile. "long time no see huh?" She nodded quickly. "how is everyone who all got lost after me, are you the only one left?" she was rambling questions till I stopped her. "Andrea we only lost Patricia, jimmy Lori t-dog and dale. I pretty sure she knew about dale and I didn't want to tell her about Shane she liked him. I sighed and threw on a shirt. "I gotta go I told him if meet with him. it was nice seeing you Andrea and nice meeting you..." "michonne" she finished for me. I nodded and left.

THREE MONTHS LATER...

michonne left not long after I met her and me and Andrea kept the word on our group a secret. they could be put in danger. Andrea trusted the governor way to much and I was worried for her. "John I'm going to Phillips for a drink don't wait up on me." I sighed. "fine but seriously Andrea something seems off about him. just be careful ok?" she laughed. "whatever John see you later." I say on my bed and closed my eyes. every night I dream of Beth but in a normal world where things don't go wrong all the time and their arnt human eating monsters outside all the doors. My mind kept wandering. how many more people have the group lost. and how many still remember me.

Andreas POV

I walked into Phillips room without knocking we have become close. "we found a prison Andrea it's just what we need!" a prison I'm pretty sure John said something about a prison. "Martinez found a couple on a run and they told us everything it's safe there we could go there it's better then here." I stared at him in shock. "what about the people that live there?" I didn't like where this was going. "we'll get rid of them their can't be a lot." I gaped at him. "get rid of them how?" He paused to look at me before responding "The same way I get rid of everything." He had a dark look in his eyes. it terrified me. I had to warn the prison.

JOHNS POV

I woke up to Andrea shaking me. "I need your to help me get out if here tonight and back in, in the morning." I got up quickly and followed her groggily. I boosted her to the side of the fence and she climbed over. "thank you John ill be back as soon as I can." with that she left and I jumped down. "Dixon come on we have to tend to the prisoners. it's your duty now. it's my break have fun in there." I grimaced at the memory of what happened I their last time I had duty. Martinez but a bullet through a mans neck and let him change to eat his girlfriend alive. I hated keeping prisoners but it was a rule.

I opened up the door to see an Asian man sitting in a chair starring at me. "John! your behind this. when I tell your brothers your gunna be in so much sh-" "Glenn shut up" I cut him off I never told anyone about the prison I left that life behind me. he mumbled something under his breath and I stepped closer to hear better. "what did you say?" he glared at me angrily. he had a split lip and half of his face was purple. "and you god damn girlfriend with a kid!" I stomped around the room. "I gave robin to daryl! I never left Beth that responsibility," he sighed. "you didn't know did you." I stared at him hard. "Beth is pregnant John." I grimaced. "it ain't mine don't worry." he sighed and stopped talking. I heard foot steps and turned around. I saw the governor push Maggie in with out a shirt on I glared at the governor hands in fists. "nice job Dixon his face looks bruised. And beaten." I saw Maggie look at Glenn's face then to mine. I slouched "wasn't me, Martinez just switched duties. why didn't I know about the prisoners." I was asking obvious questions so Glenn and Maggie knew I didn't know about them.

"It wasn't a concern and still isn't. Watch these two I have a thing I need to do. I nodded and he left. "I'm getting you guys out of here." Maggie looked scared I handed her my coat. "John he'll kill you." I nodded. "I know." I included them and told them to follow quietly and carefully. there was heavy smile all around us until I saw rick. his eyes brightened at mine and I looked away. he saw Maggie and Glenn and ushered them forward. I stepped to walk away and Rick grabbed my shoulder, "come back. we need you there" I glared at the ground in shock. "you did for three months." I snapped and ran. I felt a tug in the shirt and turned around to see daryl. He started to talk but was cut of by the bag on his head. an then my Vision was blacked out of a similar hood. I couldn't see a thing.
