Winter

It's getting cold. the weather and the tension between mostly everyone. Lori has been avoiding Rick. and her stomach is swelling out. I didn't know about the pregnancy until two months ago. when we just got out of the farm. no one ever talked and small groups within our group were forming.

Rick although Lori didn't like it, would never leave her side. Carl and bailey were inseparable despite what c.j and Lori thought. frankly I found it cute. two teenagers who fall in love. but still I guess from their point of view. daryl and c.j are always sleeping In the truck together. I think he finally found the one girl he wants. I'm happy for him. Glenn and Maggie are so close, he's always holding her hand. Our group is broken up and no one understands how badly it is.

7 months later--------

Me and Carl are scouting the perimeter of a little cabin as the others go inside. Lori and c.j are In the middle. He took the lead with me and daryl in the back and everyone else in the centre.

We kept going till Lori couldn't anymore. we stopped and set up sleeping bags and tents. me and daryl went to scout out for food. I was walking until I tripped on something. so someone it was Beth she was sitting on the ground crying. I looked at her and felt hurt all over again. I picked her up and hugged her. she never hugged back so I stepped away. "are you ok" I asked after out awkward silence. she just stared at me. "im fine, why the fuck do you even care?" I looked at her stunned. "I already told you why" I said as I walked away.

I found daryl talking to Rick about something they were looking at. I ran over and my jaw dropped. a prison, with only a couple dozen walkers in the yard, not even we could clear it out. I looked to Rick for the ok. "well go back to camp ad explain this to everyone then start first thing tommorow. You guys should get some sleep." I started heading for camp again. Beth was still there. but she was lying on the ground fast asleep. I picked her up bridal style and started for camp. when every one saw me they were concerned. I explained she was asleep then led her to robins,baileys,carls and my's tent and laid her down. robin was already asleep and bailey and Carl were talking quietly and snuggling. I laid down and covered us up. I turned to face robin as Beth's hands rode up my back slowly and moved closer. I rolled on my stomach so no one would see my hard o if they came in. being this close made me think back to that shower and well that caused you know.

BETHS POV

I fell asleep under that tree where I yelled at John. I feel bad but he left me first. I can't forgive him for that. or can I. I open my eyes and see I'm snuggling him and have my arms wrapped around his neck pulling him closer I gasp and shoot backwards and turns and settles Down again. the last think I remember was swaying and then nothing. he must've if carried me here all the way from the creek.

Johns POV

I woke up and saw Beth faceing me with her beautiful eyes sadly closed. she moved a little and slowly opened them. she looked deep into my eyes. "John promise me something" she looked like she's been fighting herself to ask this question. I slowly agreed with her. "ok tell me what I promised to." she looked sad yet hopeful. "promise me you won't leave me ever again." I stared at her shocked. "I promise beth"

She wrapped her arms around me pulling me closer. it was still dark out and had to be about three that's what my watch said anyway. she crashed her lips to mine as well as her pelvic bone crushing mine it hurt but I wanted more. Rick hands carol the gun she explained she can't shoot well and Rick shushed her saying she's gunna be fine. I jumped then fence and opened the door to let the guys in. We were walking in the frills when carol almost shot ricks foot. and I laugh as I feel a seering pain In my arm explodes and expands. I look down to see blood and a big fresh gunshot wound. I didn't cry, but I fainted.
