I feel like there are so few well-written Andy/BVB fanfics on this site, so I’m taking a shot at writing one myself. Not sure how it will turn out, but I hope you guys like it. This fic is based around the beginning of December (2011). AKA, before Andy cut his hair, but after STWOF and the broken ribs incident (just thinking about it makes me sad). Just letting you all know though, there is going to be no rape or cutting in this fic (at least, I don't plan on it), which I find way too common in the Andy/BVB fanfics. I can respect a story that has it, if it’s handled well, but I don’t want to really delve into that. Don’t worry though, guys, there will still be plenty of drama to keep you satisfied. I take credit for this story and the creative whatever that goes into it. I don't own Andy and the rest of BVB, although that would be really lovely if I did, but that would also be considered slavery, which is wrong.

I couldn't believe I was actually about to see Black Veil Brides live in concert. It's something I'd constantly dreamed about ever since becoming a fan of the band about a year and a half ago. Taking a deep breath, I told myself to relax. I, Hailey Cartwright, was about to be in the same building as the Black Veil Brides, breathe the same air as Andy Biersack, and watch my favorite band perform live. It was one thing to listen to them constantly on my iPod, but seeing them live was going to be absolutely amazing. I had spent a good majority of my day getting ready for tonight. I'd straightened my black hair and replicated Andy Biersack's war paint and makeup on myself. Two hours were spent on deciding on the perfect outfit. Finally, I chose a pair of dark denim skinny jeans, my BVB racerback tank top, and my knee high Converse boots.

After standing in line for an hour and a half and then waiting an hour inside the venue as the opening bands played, chords began to play from a guitar, somewhere behind the curtain hiding the stage. Shrieks erupted from the audience as the drumming started. Soon, the whole band was playing and the chords of "Perfect Weapon" were recognizable. The curtain dropped and Andy appeared on the stage, jumping up and down to the beat of the music. Jinxx and Jake strummed their guitars in perfect unison opposite each other on the stage while Ashley played his bass a few feet away from Andy. The music stopped and Andy let out a scream. Once again, the music started up and after a few seconds, Andy began to sing, "Awake at night, you focus on everyone who's hurt you and write a list of targets. Your violent lack of virtue." The crowd thrashed around me, jumping up and down, emmiting loud screams and singing along to the music. Getting into the music, I jumped along to the song. Andy continued to sing and I let out an embarrassingly loud scream as he sang my favorite line, "Like birds whose wings are broken, you live without direction."

I watched with pure admiration and excitement as Andy Biersack moved on to sing the opening lines of “Saviour.” The crowd had stopped their chaotic moshing and settled into a soft sway. His deep voice filled the venue as the words poured from his lips. “I never meant to be the one who kept you from the dark. But now I know my wounds are sewn, because of who you are. I will take this burden on and become the holy one. But remember I am human and I’m bound to sing this song.” Shrieks and cries erupted from the audience and a smile pulled at Andy’s lips. He continued singing the verses of the song and I found myself becoming lost in his words. Andy’s words wrapped around me and I found myself forgetting about the throngs of people surrounding me, the heat emanating from the crowd, the flashing strobe lights. My eyes were on Andy alone, and as he finished up the final lines, his eyes moved to mine. Andy held my gaze for a moment before turning and wrapping up the song. My inner fangirl shrieked. Andy Biersack just looked at me, held my gaze even.

As the show continued, I watched Ashley, Jinxx, and Jake move around their stage with their instruments. They were all so talented and I was amazed. Warpaint glistened from their skin and I found myself intrigued by the designs that were marked on their faces. CC’s drumming was amazing, as well, although I hated that he was stuck in the background. As the show ended, I felt a sense of disappointment; however my adrenaline was still pumping and I was stoked for the meet and greet after. The line was unbelievably long for the signing, but thankfully, it moved quickly and before long, I found myself standing before the band. As I stood directly in front of Black Veil Brides, I had to reign in my fangirl wants and try to act like a somewhat normal person.
