I awoke alone the following morning. Even though I knew Andy was gone, for some reason, I had still kind of expected him to be lying next to me in the morning. Reluctantly, I began my day. After taking a quick shower, I fixed my hair and slipped on a pair of jeans, a grey lightweight Glamour Kills hoodie, and black flip flops. Grabbing my purse and my keys, I walked the short distance to the nearby Starbucks. As I waited in the long line, I grabbed my Blackberry out of my purse and began scrolling through Twitter. I noticed a tweet from Andy that had been tweeted last night, shortly after he had gotten into London and before he called me.

It read, "How am I supposed to be everything they expect me to be when I feel so alone? Cause I left my heart at home." I smiled sadly, thinking of the song Andy had quoted, Miles Away by Memphis May Fire.

God, I missed him.

Immediately thinking of the song that described exactly how I felt in return, I quickly typed out, "@AndyBVB Another day without you with me is like a blade that cuts right through me. But I can wait, I can wait forever."

"Next," the barista called out from behind the counter.

Glancing up from my screen, I quickly walked forward, smiling and ordering a venti iced coffee. After paying and waiting around for a few moments, my drink appeared. I eagerly added cream and sugar. Turning, I collided with a figure, sending my drink flying. I let out a girlish squeal as I fell backwards and landed on my ass.

"Oh my God! I am so sorry!" I heard a feminine voice say. Looking up, I saw a beautiful tall girl with golden blond hair. Her shirt was soaked in my iced coffee.

"Standing up, I quickly replied, "No, I'm sorry. I totally ruined your shirt."

"This old thing," she joked. "It's fine. I'm Juliet, by the way."

"Hi, nice to meet you, I'm Hailey. And, I really am sorry about your shirt."

Juliet smiled, "Seriously, don't worry about it. I do have to go back home now, which sucks cause the 10 freeway is going to be so crowded."

"I live around the corner. You can just come over and borrow a shirt," I suggested. "I know we just met, but you don't seem like a serial killer."

"Well, your judgement's off. I'm totally a serial killer, but I'll spare you."

I laughed, "Wow, thanks." After ordering another iced coffee, Juliet and I walked the short distance to the house.

"Nice place," Juliet said, as we walked inside. "Doesn't really seem like you though."

"It's my boyfriend's house. I just moved in about a month ago, so I haven't totally personalized it yet."

"Aww... how long have you two been dating?"

I did a mental calculation in my head. "Umm... almost six months. Do you have a boyfriend?"

"No," Juliet said. "I've been really busy touring and recording with my band. Now, I'm working on some solo stuff."

"What band are you in?"

"Automatic Loveletter."

I grinned, "I've heard of you guys before. You're really awesome. Oh, and help yourself to whatever's in there." I motioned to the closet doors.

Juliet walked over and browsed through the items. We continued to make small talk.

 "Wait, what time is it?"

I checked the alarm clock and said, "It's 10:22."

"Shit," Juliet mumbled, "I have to be at the studio in like 40 minutes and it's all the way in Venice."

"So you're going to be recording and everything? That seems like so much fun."

"You can come along, if you want."

"Really? Thanks. I'm kind of glad I spilled my drink on you."

Juliet laughed, finally grabbing a grey off-the-shoulder band shirt.

"Ok, well if you're coming with me, we should probably leave now. Do you want to just follow me in your car?"

"Sure," I said. Grabbing the keys to Andy's Audi and driving behind Juliet's car, we finally reached our destination.

When we arrived, Juliet was quickly ushered into the recording booth and I settled myself on one of the couches in the studio.

"Hey, I'm Gabe, the producer."

"Hi, I'm Hailey," I introduced myself.

Juliet had an amazing voice, and while she sang, I watched Gabe work the soundboard and give Juliet feedback. I was fascinated by his job and spent most of my time there asking him questions. I was sure he was getting tired of my constant, "What does that button do?" but I just found it fascinating.

My phone buzzed and I looked down, seeing Andy's name on the screen. I headed out of the room and into the open hallway, quickly answering the call.

"Hey, baby."

"Hey, starlight, what are you doing?"

 "I'm at a recording studio," I said.

Andy paused for a moment, before saying, "What are you doing at a recording studio?" I then explained everything that had happened this morning. Once I was done, Andy replied, "Well, I'm glad you're making friends. You don't even know how much I miss you."

"I miss you so much too, baby. What are you doing?"

"The band and I are doing some interviews and photoshoots for Kerrang!, then tomorrow, we have the Kerrang! Awards. Once those are over, we have Download Festival and then we actually begin to tour Europe," Andy stated.

"Well, good luck tomorrow at the awards show. I'm crossing my fingers that you'll win."

Andy and I continued to talk for about fifteen more minutes before Juliet came outside, and the two of us headed to grab lunch. Hanging out with Juliet definitely didn't curb the longing I felt for Andy, but for the time we were together, he wasn't the only thing on my mind. Despite the hopeless melancholy I'd felt earlier, I was beginning to think that maybe I could survive the month without Andy.

Meh. Boring and short chapter, I know, but Hailey made a friend. Plus, this is leading up to something that was talked about earlier in the story and just needed to happen. There will be no Juliet/Andy history or future. She is simply Hailey's friend. Also, Juliet is always changing her hair color, so I just used blond in this story because I think she looks so beautiful with that hair color. (But of course, she looks beautiful all the time.) The lyrics Hailey tweets are from I Can Wait Forever by Simple Plan. Next chapter, there will be a time jump.
