In the weeks after Andy left, I graduated from high school and was officially making the transition into college. Shortly after I'd moved in with Andy, my college admissions letters had arrived. I had gotten accepted to Northwestern, Boston University, and USC. Unfortunately, I had been rejected from Yale. If I had never met Andy and moved to LA with him, this news would have been incredibly disappointing. However, as soon as I saw the USC acceptance letter, I knew that was where I was going to go. At USC, which was located in downtown Los Angeles, I would be close to Andy, while still attending a good school.
Since Black Veil Brides left on tour, Andy and I talked every night. As time passed, it got more bearable not having him by my side. I still missed him like crazy, but stressing over it wasn't helping anything. There were nights where I would cry and have to have Andy gently calm me down, promising he'd be home soon and telling me that he couldn't wait to hold me and kiss me. My new friend, Juliet, also played a large role in keeping me sane. Since meeting that day at Starbucks, we learned we had a lot in common. I accompanied her to the studio, and when we weren't there, we grabbed lunch and hung out. Even though there was an eight year age gap between us, we got along perfectly. When I wasn't with Juliet, I spent time with Sammi, and a few other girls I'd met. It was crazy how easy it was to meet people in LA. Even though, it was so bustling and there were often a lot of rude people, you could find some really great friends mixed in the crowd.
After more than a month of waiting anxiously for Andy to arrive home, today was the day he was scheduled to return. Andy had chosen to take an early flight and would be arriving at LAX any minute. The rest of the guys weren't going to be returning until tomorrow afternoon, but Andy didn't want to spend another second without me.
My eyes searched the baggage claim area, trying to find Andy in the swarming mass of people. We were supposed to be meeting by the baggage carousel labeled 6B, but he wasn't here yet, despite all his fellow passengers that were picking up their various luggage. Just as I was beginning to get worried, my war painted knight in shining armor pushed through the crowd.
In a very embarrassing and girly manner, I shrieked and ran towards him. As he spotted me, his face lit up and he opened his arms wide. I jumped into his embrace and he held me close, his grip almost too tight. Andy swung me around and I giggled loudly, wrapping my arms around his neck. We were earning a lot of attention from passerby. Some smiling at us with looks of kindness, while others stared curiously and somewhat rudely at Andy's attire and makeup. I didn't care and as Andy pressed his soft lips against mine, I completely forgot about their mere existence. The kiss was passionate and full of love and longing. Tongues collided and breaths were panted; however, too quickly Andy pulled away.
"I think we're making a scene," he whispered softly in my ear. He was still holding me up, pressing me against his torso.
"Do you really think I care? I've missed you so much," I replied.
"I missed you too, starlight." He gave me one last squeeze, before placing me back on the ground. I leaned in for one more kiss before we went to get his bags. This kiss didn't disappoint either. We linked hands and walked towards the baggage carousel.
I looked towards his face, where his bold eyeliner and war paint were smeared. "You didn't have time to take off your makeup? Not that I'm complaining," I smiled, "you look hot, as usual."
He grinned, "I literally raced from the stage and to the airport. I didn't even say bye to the guys, let alone, take off my makeup. I just had to see you. It's a good thing I have gazelle legs though."
"It's a very good thing. I'm not sure I could have gone much longer without you. I feel kind of bad about you leaving the guys behind though."
"Don't worry," Andy smiled, "they get it. They missed you too." I smiled warmly and squeezed his hand.
Andy picked up his three bags from the carousel and plopped them onto the waiting luggage cart. We quickly navigated through the crowd at LAX, both practically buzzing with happiness.
When we arrived at Andy's car, he quickly scanned it. "I see you took care of my baby."
"Yeah," I said, "those guys at that auto repair shop did a fabulous job."
Andy's face quickly fell into a panicked look. "What?!"
I laughed, "I'm kidding, babe."
Andy pouted, "Fuck you."
"Aww, you know it was funny."
I gave him a quick kiss, then slid into the passenger's seat. Andy got in the driver's seat and we drove home, Andy's foot practically glued to the accelerator. It was 9 AM on a Saturday morning, so the traffic wasn't too bad. When we arrived home, Andy dragged in two of his bags, while I carried the smaller one. We carelessly left them in the foyer and continued into the house.
"It's good to be home," Andy admitted.
"It's good to have you home. It's been lonely here without you."
We stood silently in the living room for a second. I bit my lip and glanced at Andy. He was staring back at me, his blue eyes practically penetrating me. They held a passionate heat that entranced me. Before I could even register Andy moving, his lips were on mine, his tongue pushing my lips apart and entering my mouth. Our tongues collided and swirled as Andy tangled his fingers in my hair and I gripped his shirt.
"Fuck," I mumbled when Andy pulled away. He grabbed my hand, leading me into the hallway and pushing me against the wall. Our mouths met again, this time, sharing quick frenzied kisses as our lungs grasped for air. After finding my back pressed against the walls of the hallway a few more times, Andy and I made it into the bedroom. I quickly kicked off my shorts and tank top, in a matter of seconds, and flopped onto the bed in nothing more than my purple lace bra and panties.
Andy struggled out of his clothes, kicking off his combat boots and quickly shrugging off his leather vest. Andy's tight jeans took a bit more effort, requiring some struggling to get the seemingly painted denim off his legs. He practically ripped them, in the process.
"Someone's eager?" I giggled from the bed.
Andy rolled his eyes, "I haven't seen you in a month. I'm eager as fuck."
Once Andy had removed the remainder of his clothes, he climbed onto the bed, positioning himself above me. Andy looked down at the bed, momentarily distracted. "Are these goddamn rose petals?"
I knew that Andy and I were definitely going to be doing something sexual tonight, and had decided to be romantic. I'd quickly thrown some rose petals on the bed before I'd left the house, finding them more amusing than sexy.
"Yes," I laughed. "I was going for cliche romance."
"I feel like you're about to take my virginity."
"Stop making me laugh. You're ruining the sex vibe."
"Right," Andy said.
His lips pressed against mine, a series of fast, breathy kisses began.
"Wait, do you have any like music or something?" I asked.
"Music?"
"Like, you know, sex music."
"No, Hailey," Andy said. "I didn't think to make a sex playlist before I got here."
"Shame on you for being unprepared."
I grabbed my iPod and scrolled through, picking a few songs and quickly making a playlist.
"Okay, we're ready," I said, syncing my iPod into the speakers and grinning at Andy as "Crazy Bitch" by Buckcherry blasted from the speakers.
"Seriously?" he laughed.
"Yes," I stated.
Pushing Andy off of me and onto his back, I kissed him softly and began to trail my lips down, placing kisses as I went. My lips brushed across the flat planes of his stomach until I reached the waistband of his briefs.
