Andy POV

Weeks had passed since the incident with Scout and things were finally starting to feel normal again. Initially after, everything had been a bit tense. Hailey was especially clingy in the following weeks, not that I minded. She never seemed to want to be left alone and always had to have either me or a friend by her side. It was understandable, after all, she had been kidnapped. A few days after Scout's arrest, her trial took place. The judge sentenced her to 6 months in a mental health facility. Our small group of friends, Sammi especially, had been shocked to find out what had happened with Scout. The behavior had been completely of out of character for her, or what we thought was her character. However, most importantly, Hailey and I had grown unbelievably closer. Fearing that I'd lose her that day had made me realize how much I needed her in my life. And, I was ready for us to take the next step in our relationship. I was scared as hell, but I knew this was what I wanted to do.

Hailey entered the dining room, her phone in her hand.

"Juliet wants to know if we can double date with her and this guy she's been seeing. Are we in or?"

"We have plans tonight."

"We do? This is news to me."

"Well, it just happened a little while ago and I think you're going to love it."

"What is it?"

I pulled two tickets out of my back pocket, flashing them at Hailey.

She grabbed them excitedly. "Are these Slash concert tickets? For tonight? I thought it was sold out."

"I know a guy," I shrugged.

Hailey kissed me and asked, "Do you think they'll play Starlight?"

"I have a feeling they might," I smirked. Checking the clock on top of the stove, I saw that it was 1 PM. "Anyway, I have to go meet the guys at the studio. We're tracking drums today. I'll be home around seven and we'll leave a bit after that, yeah?"

"Yeah," Hailey replied, quickly kissing me. "Have fun. Tell CC not to fuck up."

"I'll be sure to relay the message," I replied, giving her one more kiss before walking out the door.

The next several hours passed quickly. The guys and I all hung out in the studio, working on lyrics and tracking drums. Jake and Jinxx worked on possible guitar riffs, lost in the chords of their instruments. Finally, we finished up for the day and I drove home, eager to see Hailey and prepare for an amazing night.

Walking in the door, I immediately spotted Hailey sitting on the couch in the living room. Her hair was pin straight and her eye makeup was smoky and dark. She was dressed in a pair of black skinny jeans, an Anthem Made tank top, and knee high combat boots. After a quick conversation and a long kiss, I began to get ready for the concert. I changed into a plain white tee, a leather jacket, black skinny jeans, and a pair of black converse. Once I was finished, Hailey and I began the drive to the venue. It was at the House of Blues on Sunset, so it didn't take too long to get there, but parking was horrible. After finally finding a decent parking spot, Hailey and I headed inside. The venue was packed, yet we managed to push our way to the front of the crowd. As we waited for the concert to begin, I just held Hailey, wrapping my arms around her waist and pressing her hips against mine. My head rested gently on her shoulder as we whisper-yelled in the midst of the loud audience.

There was no opening act, so as soon as the show began, Slash, Myles Kennedy, and the other band members ran on stage. Most of the crowd was middle-aged, greatly outnumbering anyone Hailey and I's age. It was simultaneously funny and weird to see people old enough to be our parents jumping around and acting like teenagers. Hailey and I both lost ourselves in the music. I found it strange to be watching from the crowd, instead of standing on the stage, being the center of attention. Slash moved around the stage, playing his guitar expertly, as Myles Kennedy, the main singer for Slash's music, belted out lyrics. Finally, towards the end of the concert, the moment came that I had been waiting for all night.
