 i could've fallen asleep right there. not that i wanted to, not that i was tired of talking, but i could've. i could've because i just fit so perfectly in his arms. and his voice was so perfect when he talked about the things he loved, and got quiet and shallow when he talked of his fears. i could've fallen asleep because i was so comfortable and safe; i knew if i closed my eyes he would never let me demons touch me.
