Chapter 5

I ran in to the forest without looking back. Every step I took was like ripping my heart out. I felt alone in the world and had no idea where I was going.

The moon was shining in the sky and light up the forest. The trees trunk were so big I wouldn't be able to put my arms around them, I don't think anybody could. The shadows scared the shit out of me and an owl that flew right in front of my face almost made me poo in my dark blue jeans.

The sound of wolfs howling made me stop dead in my tracks. If there were wolfs out here then I needed to run like satan was after me. Wolfs are fast and they love the flesh of a siren. It's just the way it is. So I ran. I ran like the devil him self was after me.

The forest was big. A lot bigger then I thought and there was a good chanse I was running in circles. It was huge. And it was scary.

The smell of the wolfs was coming closer each second but something was wrong. They didn't smell like normal wolfs. There was something human in there smell, like ... like the smell of a werewolf.

Holy shit! Werewolfs! I'm beeing hunted by werewolfs! I am so dead.

I could here their steps now, but if they catch me they would know I was a siren. They could probably already smell it since when I jumped of the balcony I stoped changing it to a human smell. And werewolfs doesn't exactly like sirens. In fact I'm pretty sure they hate us. Like I said, I am so dead.

Running from werewolfs isn't as easy as you might think nor is it as fun. Werewolfs are fast. Really fast. So fast that each step I took I could feel them coming closer and closer. And I really didn't want to die. At all.

I was pretty fit if you ask me. Swimming in the sea all day does that to you, but these werewolfs didn't even seem to be sweating. They just kept running and running and after a while I realized that taking the hardest way, jumping over fallen trees and running in circles was just a waste of time. It didn't bother them a bit. And that sucked because it bothered me.

I could see something. I didn't know what it was I saw, but it didn't look like an animal to me. So I continued forward until I reached it. It was a road.

It wasn't a big road but you could see the car tracks on it and the best part was it led out of the forest. So, naturally, I followed it. There far away I see the sea.

The hunger came fast and sudden, making me actaully wonder if I truly am crazy.
