4|Fro Yo

It was after school. I had already called Katie and let her know about Hayden coming over to walk on a project. I had already told Caleb that Hayden was driving me in his car. He was being weird about it, but I don't really think of if to much.

I was waiting outside of the gates of school for Hayden. Two minutes had passed, and I saw Hayden running towards me. "Sorry, coach, football, practice, canceling." He said painting with his hands on his knees. "Woah woah woah. Slow down." I said laughing a bit. He laughed to. "Sorry. Anyways let's go!" He said. I followed him to his car. I sat into the passenger seat.

We were driving for a while now, and it didn't look like we were going to my house. "Um Hayden?" I said. "Mhm." He said keeping his eyes on the road. "Where are we going?" I asked a little nervous. "To city walk." He said. "Hayden! I told Ka- my mom that we were going to my house!" I said raking my hair. "Chill Annie. We'll be back before your parents find out." He said reassuring me. "Fine. But if I get in trouble, this is all your fault." I said looking out the window. "Yeah sure." He said in a goofy tone.

We arrived at city walk and immediately hopped out. Wow, it looked really pretty. "Come on!" Hayden said grabbing my hand. I blushed crazy. Good thing he wasn't looking. "Where are we going?" I asked. "Fro yo!" He said. We walked inside the fro yo shop and Hayden looked at it like a 5 year old looks at candy.

I just laughed at his goofiness. We got our fro yo. We walked to the cashier. "That'll be 9.47." He said. I reached into my pocket, but Hayden stopped me. "I'll pay." He said smiling. "No I can't-" "my treat." He said winking. That made me blush a little. Thank goodness he didn't notice.

We ate our fro yo and got to know each other better. I learned that Hayden had 3 older brothers and he lives with his dad. He also is on the school football team and has a huge passion for skateboarding. I was lost in his green eyes the whole time he was talking. (a/n: yes, irl haydens eyes are green.)

Hayden and I threw away our fro yo cups away and walked around. We came up to some water fountains. Hayden ran in them like a little kid. I laughed at how cute he looked. Wait, not cute. He ran out and went over to me. "Come on Annie!" He said. "Uh, no thanks. I'll pass." I said smiling. He smirked. And before I knew it, Hayden was carrying me over his shoulders.

"HAYDEN SUMMERALL!" I yelled while laughing. He laughed and put me down in the water. It sprayed me and I ran out. He ran out to. "Fun?" He asked me sarcastically. I playfully rolled my eyes. "Your so soaked!" I giggled pointing to his shirt. He looked down at his shirt. He took of his shirt and squeezed the water out.

Wow. This kid had a nice body. He put his shirt back on. I think he saw me looking. "Like what you see LeBlanc?" He joked. I stuck my tongue out. We walked and talked some more until I saw a message from Katie.

Mom- Annie? Where are you?

Then I looked at the time. 6:27. Shoot! "Hayden!" I said looking down at my phone. "What? Are you okay?" He said confused. "It's like 6:30 and my mom texted me where I'm at!" I said panicking a little. "Tell her we worked on the project at the library." He said like he's lied to his dad before.

Annie- Oh sorry. Hayden and I went to the library to work on the project.
Mom- okay. can you ask hayden to drive you home?
Annie- yes ofc. I'll be home soon.
Mom- okay. love you.💕
I smiled at what she texted me. I feel wanted
Annie- Love you too ❤️

I think I zoned out at the message because Hayden was waving his hand in front of my face. "Annie!" He said. "Oh sorry. My mom asked if you could drive me home." I said still kinda zoned out. "Yeah of course." He smiled. I smiled back and we rode back to my house in silence.

We arrived at my house. "I had fun." I said looking at him. "Me too." He started to lean in... did he want to kiss me?! No way... I leaned in too, to see if he wanted to kiss me. But he didn't. He licked my nose? "You had fro yo from earlier on your nose." He said tapping my nose. I laughed. "Night Hay." "Night Anns"

I walked out and walked inside. "Oh hey Annie." Katie greeted me. "Hey!" I said all smiley. "Someone seems happy." Billy said raising his eyebrow. "Did he kiss you!!" Hayley said grabbing my hands. I laughed. "No Hayley, Hayden didn't kiss me." Although he I wish he did.. snap out of it Annie!

The rest of the night went smooth. I can't wait for what tomorrow held for me.
