I was walking to school. No, not because Caleb and I got in a fight. I just needed to clear out my head from all thoughts. What I said to Hayden yesterday, was it really smart?
But I know that I was right about one thing. He needs to change.

Things between us are just, so, complicated. It's like we're dating, and then we're not. We basically don't even talk. Yet, we do. Ugh. Why is life so confusing? I stop in my tracks when I realized I reached school. Great.

-time skip to lunch-

Lunch time. Best part of the school day. Noisy, eating, talking. Pretty much it. I walk to the table where Kenzie, Lauren, Jayden and Lexi were sitting at.

"Hey Anns!" Jayden greeted me as I was sitting down. "Hey!" I smiled. "So, how did it go with you and Hayden?" Lauren asked unsure of her own words. "Ehh. I don't even know." I said sighing, resting my chin on my hand.

We continued talking until, "Can I have everyone's attention please." Hayden said standing on the table. Is this kid crazy?! Wait, he is. Everyone quickly turn there attention to him. Wow.

"I would like to thank, a lovely girl in my life. She's always been my best friend. We even had something between us. I'm going to let her stay anonymous, but know that I love you with all my heart." While Hayden was saying that, he was looking at me the whole speech.

He hopped of the table and continued talking with his friends. I looked at the girls with my jaw dropped. "Well then." Kenzie said in shock. "I know." I said surprised. "I-I'm gonna go talk to him." Unsure of my words, I stood up and walked to him and his friends.

"Hayden?" I said. He immediately turned around to face me and he slightly smiled. "Can I talk to you? In private?" I asked. He simply nodded and he followed me out the hallways. "Im confused." I plain out said.

"What do you mean?" He asked. "I don't know, our relationship." I said looking down. "I mean, you told me to change. And I'm trying." He said. I looked back up. "I'll help you." I said "what?" "I'll help you change. Back to your normal loving self." I smiled at him.

He smiled and nodded. "Come on!" I said dragging him outside. "Wait, right now? Like leaving school?" He asked surprised. "Uh, duh." I said continuing to walk.

We reached the parking lots in no time. "Did you bring your car?" I asked. He nodded and we went to his car. "Where too?" He asked buckling his seat belt. "Hmm... the mall!" I said smiling. He smiled back. "The princess gets what the princess wants!" He joked.

I playfully punched his arm and he drove off to the mall, ditching school. Huh, not the best idea, but it works.

We arrived at the mall and walked in through the main entrance. "Alright, where too first?" He asked. I looked around. "Hm. I don't know. Why don't you choose?" I ask. He nods. I follow him into Gucci. "Really?" I ask eyeing him. He smirks. "Really." "Hayden, you can't afford anything in here." I said rolling my eyes.

"Really?" He questioned. I matter-of-factly nodded. He smirked again and pulled out 200 dollars. "Hayden Summerall, where did you get that?" I asked him looking at him in the eyes. "My dad." He winked. Ugh. He is being so flirtatious right now.

Hayden bought a sweatshirt and we walked out of the shop. "Ooo! Let's go to forever 21!" I said smiling. He giggled and agreed. I looked around the store for about 15 minutes when Hayden walked up to me. "Try this. It would look nice on you." He smiled. "Hayden? How do you know my size?" I say taking the romper he was holding.

"You told me one time when we were hanging at your house." He smiled. I smiled back and tried it on in the fitting room. I came out and Hayden looked up from his phone to me. His eyes traced from my legs to my eyes. His jaw dropped. I giggled and slightly blushed. "So I'm buying it?" I asked. He smiled and nodded. I smiled back and changed back into my normal clothes.

I bought the romper and we went to go get some food from the food courts. Just as I was about to sit down at a table, Hayden stopped me. "Let's go to my house and eat. It'll be more private since my parents and brothers aren't home." He said. "Okay." I replied.

We walked to his car and drove away. We talked all the way to his house. I think the old Hayden's coming back. The Hayden that I loved. I missed him, and now he's back.

Hayden pulled up in the driveway and we walked to the front of his house. He let me in first before closing the door behind him. We walked to the table and ate.

"Wanna watch a movie?" He asked. "Sure!" We walked up to his room and he grabbed his computer. We sat on his bed. "What movie?" He asked. "Hmm... I don't know. I don't usually watch movies." I shrug. "Ooo! How about La La Land?" Hayden asks me. I nod and we start the movie.

During the first half hour, I didn't even notice how close Hayden and I were. His laptop on his lap, by head on his chest and his arm around me. I sighed. "Wanna keep watching?" I asked. He paused the movie.

"No, not really." He whispered into my neck. Oh here we go again. With the teases. He put his laptop on his nightstand and sat up. I sat up to. I was about to say something, but he laid back down and pulled me on top of him. I started to blush. I think he noticed so he nuzzled his nose into my neck.

He flipped us over so he was on top of me. He smirked. I decided to tease him back for once. I pushed him off me and ran downstairs laughing. "Get back here LeBlanc!" He shouted chasing after me. I ran around his house laughing my head off. "Catch me first!" I yelled running around the kitchen counter.

Soon enough, he caught me. He lifted me up from my waist and spun me around. I laughed. Once again, with his teases. He put me down and backed my up to the wall. He put his hands around my waist and started to kiss me.

I felt sparks, fireworks that I haven't felt in a long time. It felt reliving. I moved my hands to neck and kissed back. I could feel him smiled through the kisses. I was smiling too. He moved his lips across my jawline to my neck. I let out a small, loud moan. Oops! Good thing no one was home.

Hayden smirked and pulled me off the wall. "Why do you always tease me like this?" I asked putting my hand on my hips. "You like it." He smiled inching closer. Great. "No I don't." I said. He inched closer, so our noses and foreheads were touching. "Yes you do." He whispered. "You kissed back." He whispers again, the very tips of his lips touching mine as we speak.

He pulled away from me.

"I should get going home." I said. "Need a ride?" He said grabbing his car keys. "A ride? With you? Noooo." I sad sarcastically. "Just get in the car!" He laughed. I laughed too and we hopped in his car.

We arrived at my house. "Well, this is my stop." I smile. He smiles back. "Bye Annie." "Bye Hay." I get out of his car and open my door with my spare key.

And I see something I wish I could unsee...
