"Did I change? Or did you just stop loving me."

I walked into see everything. Broken. Broken glass everywhere, tv screen cracked, furniture flipped over. It looked like a tornado hit the inside of our house. My first intent was to call 911, but I stopped.

"Mom? Dad? Hayley? Caleb?" I called out a little softly. My body was shaking. My body in trembling in fear. I quietly walked upstairs, with a metal bar in my hand. I slowly opened the door to my room. It wasn't as bad as downstairs.

"Hello? Anyone here?" My voiced ached in fear. I pulled out my phone and called my mom. She didn't answer.

I called 911 and told them about everything. They should be here soon.

Not even 2 minutes later, 911 arrived. I rushed down the stairs to see police officers. "Are you the young lady that called?" He asked me. I nodded slightly. "Go to the lady over there. She'll take you to the police station while we search your house." I hesitantly nodded and rushed over to the lady officer.

"Please get in the car." She said escorting me to the car. We arrived at the station and we went inside. She lead me to what seemed like a office. "Please, take a seat." She said motioning me to sit down. I did as she pleased.

"So, may I have your name?" She asked holding out a notepad and pen. "J-Julianna LeBlanc. I preferred to go by the name Annie." I state. "So, Annie, can you give me a description of what happened?" She asked scribbling something down.

"My, friend dropped me off at my house. The door was locked, so I opened it. Everything was messed up so I called for my family's name. I heard no response so I called you guys." I said fiddling with my fingers.

"Okay. Thank you Julianna. I'll have you wait here. My names Vanessa. If you need anything give me a call. Oh and be sure to call someone you can stay the night with." She said walking out.

I let some tears out. What happened? Is my family okay? Who or what did do this? Why? So many unanswered questions are wondering around my head.

But right now, I need to find someone to stay the night at. I call Kenzie.

Annie- Kenzie?
Kenzie- Hey Annie! I'm sorry but I'm busy right now. Can it wait?
Annie- oh, y-yeah. Bye

And she hung up. Great. Kenzie's obviously not an option. I call Hayden. He always had time for me. Right?

Annie- Hey Hay
Hayden- oh hey Annie. you're up late.
Annie- Uh yeah, about that, can I stay the night at your place?
Hayden- of course. But why?
Annie- I'll explain later. Can you pick me up from the police department
Hayden- ANNIE LEBLANC WHAT DID YOU DO?!?!
Annie- Hayden chill, I didn't do anything wrong.
Hayden- okay. I'll be there
Annie- Thanks Summerall
Hayden- Anytime LeBlanc

I hung up the phone and walked up to the main office. I saw man typing on his compute while looking through a file. "Um sir? May I speak to officer Vanessa?" I ask politely. He nodded. He walked into a back room and came out with Vanessa.

"Oh hello Annie. Did you need something?" She asked me. "Uh yeah. I found out who I'll be staying the night with." I said. "Great! Who is it and how are they related to you?" She said.

I opened my mouth to say something, but someone took most of the words from my mouth. "His name is Hayden Summerall and relation is boyfriend." Hayden said slinging his arm around me. He startled me and I looked at him with wide eyes.

"Okay great. Stay safe Annie. Have a good night and be sure to come back here in the morning." Vanessa said. I thanked her and we walked to Hayden's car. "Really? Boyfriend?" I questioned him. "About that, Annie, I really like you. You always seem to make me smile. You make me feel special. You somehow make the world light up. There's something about you I love. Will you do the honors and be my girlfriend?" He said holing my hands.

Definitely not how I expected I would be asked, but life isn't perfect. I smiled. "Of course Hay." He smiled back. "And I promise to keep you safe." He added on. I smiled and looked out the window in just the thought of being Hayden's girlfriend.

We arrived at his house. Once we reached his house door, he put his finger to his lip, motioning me to be quite. I nodded and we walked inside of the Summerall household. All the lights were off. Hayden took my hand and lead me up the stairs to his room;

Once we reached his room, I sat down on his bed. He sat down next to me. "So, explain." He said. "Explain wha- oh." I said looking down at my feet. "Well, after you dropped me off at my house, I opened my house and it looked like a tornado was there and ruined everything. I-I couldn't find anyone so I called the police.." I said with my words getting softer. I cried a bit.

Hayden pulled me into a safe, comforting hug. I just cried into his shoulder. "I'm so sorry Annie." He whispered into my ear.

I pulled away and wiped my tears away.

"Who would do this?" I said trying to control my emotions. "I don't know, but I do know is that I'm going to make their life miserable." Hayden said with a little anger. I gave him a hug.

I pulled away and laid down on his bed. "Night Summerall." "Night Love."
