"True friends are never apart. Maybe by distance but never by heart" - Right now I was in my bed just laying down. I just left Kenzie's. I was playing around with my phone, wondering if I should call Hayden. I told my mom what happened and she felt bad and to give him some time.

I look down at my phone, wishing it was Hayden, but it wasn't. It was Jayden.
Jayden😁- Hey girlie 💕 Kenzie told me what happened. I'm so sorry. Hayden's stupid. To clear your mind, wanna hangout today at city walk? Annie- yeah I would like that :) Jayden😁- great! I'll be at your house in 30.
I left her on read and fixed myself a bit. I walked downstairs. "Hey sweetie. Feeling better?" My mom asked me. "Kind of. Can I go with Jayden to city walk?" I asked. "Sure." She replied. I thanked her with a hug and Jayden texted me she was here.
I said bye to my mom and walked out to Jayden's car. "Hey girl! Ready for some fun!" She asked me driving away. "Yep!" I replied smiling. Maybe today won't be so bad after all.
We arrived at city walk. Jayden and I just messed around being silly and childish. I did a back tuck, which caused some people to look. I smiled. Jayden and I went to go get our nails done at the nearby salon.
After awhile, we got hungry. "Where do you wanna go eat?" Jayden asked me. "Hmm..." I said looking around. This one restaurant stuck out to me. It was retro styled. "How about there?" I asked pointing the restaurant. "Ooo okay! Let's go!"
Jayden and I walked inside. Wow. It was amazing! It looked like from the 80s. Jayden and I took our seats. "How may I serve you lad- Jayden, Annie?" We looked to see Johnny. "Oh hey John! We didn't know you worked here." I said smiling.
"Yeah, it's just for awhile." He replied. "Well, anyways, can I take your order?" He asked smirking. I laughed. Jayden and I gave our orders. "Coming right up!" He said walking away.
Jayden and I continued talking. We took some pictures of how cute the restaurant looked. Jayden posted one on Instagram.

Johnny served us out food and we ate. We hung out some more and then Jayden dropped me off at my house.
"Hey Annie banannie. Did you have fun?" My mom asked. I smiled. "Yep!" I said. She smiled and I jogged up to my room. I was watching Netflix when I got a message on my phone.
Hayden💜- can we talk?
Huh. I never changed his emoji to a broken heart one.
Annie- sure. Hayden💜- great. meet me at the park? Annie- okay. I'll be there.
I walked back downstairs and told my mom that I was going for a walk. I put on my shoes and walked to the park. I didn't see Hayden, so I sat down at the bench. I saw some kids playing around on the playground.
I smiled watching at how happy they were. Carefree, don't have to worry about to much.
"Annie." I heard a voice say. I turn my head around to see Hayden. He sat down on the bench next to me. I looked down.
"Annie, I'm sorry. I don't know what I was thinking. I didn't need time because you were a foster child, I needed time to process it." He said. "You caused me a lot of pain." I said.
"I know, and I'm a jerk for that. I understand if you don't want to talk to me." He said standing up. "Hayden, wait." I said putting my hand on his shoulder. He turned around and I ran into his arms hugging him. "I can't live without you." I said into his chest.
He hugged me. We pulled away from the hug and he kissed my head.
"I love you Anns. "I love you too Hay."
"And I promise to never hurt you again." He said. I smiled. We decided to walk and talk a bit. "So, who do you think that lady was?" Hayden asked. "I don't know." I said shrugging my shoulders.
We continued to walk until we reached want seemed like an abandon hotel. "How did we end up here?" I laughed. "I don't know, but let's explore it!" Hayden said. "Um yeah no." I said. "Come onnnn annieeeee!" He whined.
We continued fighting back a forth. "Okay, how about tonight we sneak out with the crew and explore the hotel." Hayden said. I looked at him, obviously not realizing how stupid this plan is. "Really?" I asked in a duh tone. "Come on Anns, live a little!" He said playfully punching my shoulder.
I though about it for awhile. Yeah, I'm a teenager. I should live a little. "Okay" I replied. A huge smile grew on Hayden's face.
