Hi guys!! THIS IS IMPORTANT: Updates might be a bit slow these next two weeks because i fractured my wrist and it's hard to type. Also, I was thinking of making a face claim book to help some people out? Would you guys be interested?

"Oh my god, of course I'd be the one to get lost in freakin' Universal," you grumbled to yourself, looking around the busy theme park in search of anyone familiar. It had been a miracle that your parents had even agreed to bring you here in the first place, and now that you'd gotten separated, you knew they would never take you anywhere ever again.

You had caught your eyes on a butterbeer cart in the Harry Potter section, and wandered a mere twenty feet away to go get yourself one. After purchasing your drink, you turned around, and your family was nowhere to be found.

Sighing to yourself, you tried to rationalize everything in your mind and keep calm. You reached into your back pocket to get your phone and try calling one of your parents, before you remembered you had left it in your mom's bag the last time you went on a roller coaster.

Running a hand through your hair, you walked a bit further in the direction of where you last saw your parents, squinting to see if you could spot them. After a minute or two, you decided your attempt was futile and let out a groan of frustration.

"Hey, um, are you okay?" a voice asked behind you. You whirled around, coming face-to-face with a boy with curly black hair, who was looking curiously at you.

"Wha-? Oh, sure, I just g-got lost is all," you admitted, rather embarrassingly. The boy chuckled lightly at you, walking closer.

"I can help you get back to your family, if you want," the boy offered, "I'm Finn, by the way."

"I'm (y/n), and thanks I really need the help. Figures it would be me of all people to get lost on the one vacation i go on,"you joked, causing Finn to laugh again. The two of you started walking in the direction you thought your family went, talking and getting to know each other.

About an hour had passed, and the two of you were getting tired.

"Hey, can we stop at this slushie cart thing? I'm thirsty,"Finn asked, and you nodded. You both got slushies, and sat down on one of the benches nearby.

"So, even though we have done a whole lot of nothing, I've had fun with you today," Finn said, taking a sip of his slushie.

"Me too. You're pretty cool, Finn," you said, giggling. Just as he was about to answer, you spotted your mom across the way, speaking to a park worker.

"Oh my god, Finn! There's my mom!" you said, pointing across the way. The two of you got up, running across the walkway to her.

"Mom! Hey, I'm alright, just a little stupid and directionally-challenged!" you called out, getting your mom's attention.

"Oh my god, (y/n), thank goodness," your mom said, rushing over and pulling you into a bone-crushing hug.

"Yeah, yeah. I made my back because of Finn-," you started, pointing behind you, only to see the boy walking away.

"BYE (Y/N)! CHECK YOUR POCKET," he called out, before turning a corner. You shook your head at him amusedly, before digging your hand into your pocket. You produced a folded up napkin in your hand. Unfolding it, you saw something scrawled in messy handwriting.

Don't be a stranger ;)

You laughed to yourself, folding the paper up before your mom could see it.

"Okay, let's get this vacation back on the rails!"
