Someone asked for more Jack, so here ya go lovey ALSO GUYS I GOTTA NEW BOOK ITS CALLED 'IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY' GO CHECK IT OUT MY FRIENDS
You had always been the jokester of your friend group at school; the one who made the rest of your friends laugh until they cried. Then, you met Jack. He was a friend of a friend, someone you had heard occasional funny stories about, but nobody you expected to meet in person. Apparently, he also had the reputation of jokester in his friend group.
Secretly, both of you were very competitive. In an unspoken agreement the first time you met, the two of you entered a competition to see who could be funnier. Who was the real jokester. Although, over the past couple of months, it had developed into a ' who can make the other laugh' kind of competition.
Currently, it was a Saturday, and you had been invited to hang out with Jack and a couple of your other friends. It was unusually cold out, even for September, so you pulled on a sweatshirt before you left, tying your hair up into a bun.
You skateboarded over to the park that you were supposed to meet your friends at, and noticed you were the first one there. Propping your board against a bench, you sat beside it and took out your phone, busying yourself until your friends arrived.
Suddenly, two hands covered your eyes, blocking you from seeing the post you were reading on your phone. You blinked, causing the person who was covering your eyes to laugh.
"Hey, that tickles, don't do that!" They said, and you rolled your eyes once you realized it was Jack. Removing his hands from your eyes, you turned to see the grinning brunette standing behind the bench.
"Hey, Jack," you greeted, as the boy maneuvered around the bench and sat next to you, "where is everyone else?"
"What, I'm not good enough?" he asked, and you rolled your eyes at him for the second time.
"You know what I mean, loser," you said, trying to sound resigned, though you were cracking a smile. The two of you continued to talk until the rest of your friends showed up, and you all started walking to main street to get something to eat. You had your skateboard tucked under your arm, talking and laughing with everyone.
Suddenly, you got an idea, and a smirk crossed over your face. You distanced yourself from your friend and your current conversation, drifting towards Jack, who was on the other side of the group.
"Hey Jack, can you hold this for me?" you asked innocently, and before he could respond, I reached down and laced my fingers with his. Jack looked up at me, confusion written on his face, before he grinned.
"Yeah, I can definitely hold that," he replied cheekily, swinging your linked hands, "You know, I guess this is as good a time as any to tell you that I like you. A lot." It was your turn now to look at the brunette boy in shock.
"You do?" you asked, a blush rising to your cheeks.
"Yeah, for sure. How could I not?" he asked, sneaking a look into your eyes as a blush rose to his own cheeks.
"Well, Jack, I like you too. A lot," you responded, moving closer to him.
"AWWW," all of your friends said in unison, one of them even going as far as to wipe a fake tear off their cheek.
"Oh shut up, you guys are just jealous," you said to them, causing all of your to burst out in laughter.
