Three Months Later

Erebor

Three months had passed, now getting settled in the Mountain, still rebuilding and decorating, Thorin had expected Dis to arrive after the battle, but she had not arrived yet. And it worried him. But then, Thorin received a letter from Dis she would arrive that very night, alongside with Gloin's Wife, Nyri, and son Gimli.  Gloin felt so excited that his son and wife are coming, he was beside himself. "I cannot wait for you ladies to meet my son." said Gloin proudly. "I can't wait to meet him." said Christine grinning. "Or a certain elf, I should say!" laughed Felicity. "Felicity, that isn't going to happen til sixty years down the road." said Christine softly. "Oops." said Felicity. Gloin released a loud belch after taking a swing of his ale. "That's real nice, Gloin." chuckled Mary Anne. Bilbo was also still there, he decided to stick around until after Thorin and Christine's wedding and coronation ceremony, that is still in the process of planning. Right now Thorin had been focusing on rebuilding Erebor. As they ate in the dining room, Dis, alongside with Nyri and Gimli made their arrival, and they entered the dining hall.

Thorin stood up and smiled, greeting his sister, Nyri and Gimli. "Christine, come here! She's here!" Thorin called out to Christine. Christine quickly ran to Thorin's side. "Hello Dis, its an honor of meeting you!" beamed Christine. Dis smiled, and Dis threw her arms around Christine hugging her tightly. "Its a honor meeting you. Thank you for saving my brother!" said DIs. Christine could feel tears of joy coming down Dis's cheeks. "I had to do what I to do. I would be lost without Thorin." said Christine. When they broke embrace, Dis smiled. "You are going to make a great Queen. I am so glad Thorin had met you." said Dis. "I'm glad I met him. He's changed my life completely." said Christine. "Come, dinner is about to be served, and we'll talk more over supper." said  Thorin. Dis went and sat with Thorin, Christine and the others.  Fili and Kili pretty much smothered their mother, when they saw her sitting down. "Give her room to breathe, lads!" said Dwalin.

After supper and a lot of catching up with Thorin, Fili, Kili, Baiin and Dwalin and the rest of the companions, Dis and Christine, alongside with Felicity and Mary Anne spend some time together a small parlor room. Christine told Dis their story, and how they met Thorin, Bilbo and Thorin's company, and how they discovered they are daughters of Gandalf the Grey, and Christine told her side of the story of their quest to Erebor with the dwarves. "Wow. You really went through a lot." gasped Dis. "Yes, especially with Thorin. We made it through. I almost lost Thorin once. That's why when I saved his life after the Battle of Five Armies, I told myself I'm not going to lose him again either." said Christine. "You almost lost him before?" asked Dis. "The gold sickness almost took full hold of Thorin when we first arrived, but it was me, Balin, Dwalin, Fili and Kili and Gandalf that helped turn him around." concluded Christine.Dis smiled. "I'm glad all of you helped him when you did. It is as I feared. When he first told me he was going to take on this quest, I really had my doubts. I worried that he would become just like Grandfather. And I told him that too. And he kept always saying 'I'm not like my Grandfather'!" said Dis/

"That's what he had said many times before. But he finally realized the hurt I caused on everybody, that hit him." said Christine. "Mary Anne told  me of the words he said about Kili before leaving Lake Town. I'm going to give my brother a hard time on this one. He had no right saying that about my son." said Dis. "Dis, I advise you to let it go. They have made up since then, and Thorin many times apologized to Kili for it." said Christine. Dis nodded. "You are right, Christine." said Dis. "Well, what's on the agenda tomorrow. The wedding is in four weeks, we got a lot to do!" said Felicity. "For starters tomorrow morning, we're going shopping for materials for Christine's wedding gown. We have four weeks to get this dress done." said Dis. "Do you think four weeks is enough time?" asked Christine. "Chris, you're looking at the world's fastest seamstress right here!" grinned Dis. "And myself as I well. Mother taught me how to seam and sew at the age of five. Between Dis and I, we will get your gown done in a jiffy!" smiled Mary Anne. Dis laughed. "Dwalin always like to say that word." said DIs, blushing when she mentioned Dwalin's name. "Oh, is there something I don't know about Dwalin? You like him do you?" grinned Felicity.
