No One's POV:
"Climb on my back, my lady! I will take you to safety!" instructed Beorn. Christine climbed on top of Beorn's back, and the bear ran at incredible speed. Two hours later, they arrived at Beorn's home. Beorn instructed her to on inside, and ,meet him in the dining hall. Later, Beorn arrived now in human form, and made dinner for himself and Christine. Christine told Beorn her story about the company. "I'm hoping Gandalf would find them soon, so we'll reunite again." said Christine. "Don't worry, you'll reunite with Gandalf and your companions." smiled Beorn. "I remember Gandalf always used to say, 'A wizard is never late, arrives preciously when he needs to'!" said Christine. Beorn laughed harder "You are just like your father! But more of your mother in appearance." said Beorn. "You know my mother?! You met her?" asked Christine. "Yes, I only met her a few times during Gandalf's yearly visiits." explained Beorn. "What became of her?" asked Christine. "We don't know. Ilanna's disappearance had remained a mystery to Gandalf and the rest of the Istari. No one knew what happened to her." said Beorn sadly. The two sat in silence for a brief moment, then Beorn began to speak again.
"So what is your connection with dwarves? Particularly with Thorin Oakenshield's folk?" asked Beorn. "I'm going to help them reclaim their homeland. Gandalf also placed me in the company to help save Thorin from succumbing into gold sickness." replied Christine. "Christine, he's a dwarf. Once the sickness grows on him, you cannot change him, no matter what you'll do. This is going to be a difficult task for you." said Beorn. "That's what I was trying to tell Lady Galadriel." said Christine. "But Christine, you're an Istari. You can help change Thorin, if you do it right. Just have faith in yourself." said Beorn, kindly. "Thank you, Beorn." replied Christine. "There's a room to the right of the dining hall you can rest in. I will lock the door tonight. Will you be okay, alone?" asked Beorn."Yes, I will be okay." said Christine. "No orc would come near this place, as long as they see my form underneath the moon, you are safe, don't worry!" said Beorn. "Thank you, Beorn." smiled Christine.
Christine's POV:
And so I went to the room and fell asleep. At first, I found it difficult for me to sleep. For one, Thorin wasn't there to hold me in his arms, singing sweet soft words to me, while stroking my hair. I was quite spoiled to those nights by the campfire with Thorin by my side. My thoughts quickly turned to Thorin. How is he, my sisters and the others are doing now, since I'm seperated from them? Will they make it here? And what of Gandalf? After staring at the ceiling for a an hour or so, I drifted off to sleep. I realized I slept for two whole days during my stay at Beorn's. On the second day of my stay there, I woke up to the sound of voices coming from the dining hall. One of the voices I instantly recognized was Gandalf's! I quickly jumped out of bed, and got dressed. I had to go see where all the commotion was coming from. To my surprise as I stepped into the dining room, there sat Gandalf, Thorin, and the others sitting around the dining room table. Felicity and Mary Anne jumped out of their chairs running towards me. "OH CHRISTINE! It is so good to see you safe and sound!" cried out Felicity, hugging me tightly. "You have no idea how worried we are of you!" cried out Mary Anne. "But we weren't the only ones who worried over you. Poor Thorin, he kept asking for you, asking where you are. He was a total wreck." said Felicity. Felicity and Mary Anne quickly went to their seats. Suddenly, Thorin ran towards me, sweeping me into his arms, holding me tightly.
"You had us all worried, love. Especially me. I tried to kill of Azog, but he was too strong for me." whispered Thorin. "You and Azog faced off?!" I gasped. Thorin briefly told her his story of his battle against Azog, after leaving the Goblin Caves. "He told me he had you in his captivity. It angered me tremendously when he said that. He had plans of taking you to his Master. Oh, Christine! Thank Mahal, you are safe!" whispered Thorin, kissing me gently. "You have to thank Beorn too! He saved me me and brought me here to his home!" I said smiling at Beorn. "Thank you Master Beorn, for saving Christine!" said Thorin, and he bowed to Beorn. Over breakfast, they told stories with Beorn. Even Christine told tales of her first round of nightmares she had that involved Azog in them. It stunned Beorn, and all the dwarves too, especially Gandalf. A fear came over Gandalf's features. "You said the Necromancer appeared your nightmares, Christine?" asked Gandalf. "Yes." said Christine. "Part of her nightmare came true when Azog captured her." said Felicity. "We won't let the second part come true. That evil being will not go near her." snarled Gandalf. Thorin grinned. He like to see this side of the wizard more often. "My thoughts exactly, Gandalf." said Thorin.
