Mary Ellen's Point of View
I am doing my homework in my room when the doorbell rings. When I open the door, I see Hunter and Logan. I hear giggles and look down and see a little girl.
"Well hello, sweetie, what's your name?" I bend down and ask the little girl.
"I am Morgan but you can call me Momo!" She says as she jumps into my arms.
"Well, Momo! My name is Mary Ellen! But you can call me... um...." I am struggling to think of a nickname.
"Mary Beary," Hunter interrupts.
"Mary Beary! I wike it! What do you thwink Lolo?" Momo asks Logan.
"I think it is perfect. Great thinking Hunty!" Logan says smugly.
"Lolo? Hunty?" I ask, trying to hide my laughter. Logan just smiles, he seems to like his nickname. On the other hand, Hunter looks embarrassed.
"Okay! Anyway, there is a reason why we are here," Hunter says.
"Oh and here I thought you guys just wanted to see me!" I say sarcastically as I pick up Momo.
"We need a place to stay for-"
"Of course you can stay," I interrupt Hunter.
"You don't even know for how long."
"Doesn't matter." I simply state. "C'mon Momo. Let's get you set up in my room."
"Wait I wanna be in your room," I hear Hunter say behind me.
"In your dreams Hunty!" I continue walking with Morgan in my arms up to my room, I can hear the boys following me. When we get to my room Momo wiggles out of my arms and runs to the bed. I laugh as I watch her cuddle into my human-size bear. Soon I feel a pair of arms wrap around my stomach from behind. Hunter leans his head on my shoulder and says, "I bet you are wondering why we need a place to stay."
"Only if you want to tell me, if not then Momo and I are gonna have girl time." Morgan hears us talking and rushes over.
"What's girl time? What's girl time?" She jumps up and down.
"Well, I was thinking we could paint our nails, and do our hair, and go get ice cream!" I say enthusiastically.
"Yay! Pwease Hunty! Pwease!" She begs Hunter.
"Only if Logan and I can get some ice cream too," he responds.
"Well of course," I say, "Who else would pay?"
"But first can you show us to where we get to sleep?" Logan says from beside Hunter.
"Oh right! Here follow me," I say as I take them to the guest bedroom. It has a set of twin beds and a tv.
"Oh hey where are your parents?" Hunter asks as he sets his stuff down.
"Dad is on a business trip and Mama is in heaven," I say smoothly.
"Oh, I am so sorry." Logan and Hunter both say.
"It is what it is. Now Momo do you want to do hair or nails first?"
"NAILS!" Was her enthusiastic response.
"Okie dokie," I say as I walk to my room, letting the boys get settled. I take her to my ensuite bathroom and set her on the counter so I can get the nail polish.
"Ok, so what color do you want? I have reds, pinks, blu-"
"PINK!" She screams.
"Ok pink it is!" I pull out all my different pinks and let her choose which one she wants. She chooses a super hot pink color. As I work on her toenails she tells me all about her life.
