ANNA'S POV

After I get done telling Robin about the strangest story known as my life, we pay for our new outfits.
I bought a pair of black sandals and combat boots. Robin bought a new choker and a cutoff vest.

"Where to next?" Robin asks.
Actually, I really want to go to Hot Topic and buy a My Chemical Romance shirt. Even though they are broken up, they are still in my heart. Kill Joy for life, right?

"Hot Topic!" I tell her. Robin smiles a bright one and points in the direction of the store.
We walk through the mall, stepping quickly across the glossy tile and occasionally admiring the cute outfits that are displayed on the mannequins.
"Finally," Robin huffs as we reach Hot Topic I laugh at her impatience and walk into the dark store. I hear a loud song blaring throughout the store and it sounds familiar. I slightly rock my head back and forth and look for the shirt I wanted.
"I found it!" I shouted excitedly at Robin. She whipped around and faced me, her red hair bobbing around Her head. Her face glowed when she saw song lyrics displayed on the jet black shirt.
"The world is ugly..
but you're beautiful to me...," is written in fancy lettering across the front of the shirt.
"Get it!" she demands. She claps her hands and gives me an encouraging looks. I nod and grab a Falling in Reverse bracelet and I walk to the register.

The pink haired lady smiles at me, and her lip ring glistens in the dim lighting. Black eyeliner is swept across her unnaturally dark brown eyes.
"Is this all?" she asks.
I nod while setting the bracelet and shirt in the see-through counter. She scans everything and I hear Robin get in line behind me.
"Twenty-four dollars and twenty seven cents," she states.
I pull out my wallet and hand her a twenty and five dollar bill.
"Keep the change," I say as she hands me the bag of my new things and I step aside to wait for Robin. It looks like she got a few shirts and a necklace.
Robin pays and we walk out. She tells me that she got a One Direction shirt, (yes, One Direction) a Falling in Reverse shirt, and a bottle cap necklace.

"Thanks for today," Robin says as she pulls up to my house.
"No, thank you," I object. "You drove me to the mall, bought me a shake and a best friends bracelet."
Robin smiles, but she looks truly sad underneath.
"Thanks for coming is what I meant," she clarifies. I'm not looking at her, but I can hear her quiet sobs next to me.
"What's wrong, Rob?" I ask. Nothing bad really happened today. She should not be crying. We had fun... Right?
"Nothing," she cries. She wipes her tears away and laughs. "I'm fine really. J love you. I just wanted you to know that." She leans across the car and hugs me tightly. Where is all of this random affection coming from?
"I love you, too, Robin. Really." I hug her back and open the car door. After grabbing my bags and phone, I head to my front door.
Whatever Robin was upset about, I'm not getting into with her today. That's why I just walked away. I will be talking to her tomorrow when I see her again.
