NOBODYS POV
They all watched as Anna made her way up to the stage. Lots of people showed up at Robin's funeral. Every few minutes, you could hear sniffles and sobs, and the occasional, "What a shame, the girl killed herself."
Anna wiped her face, trying to avoid smearing her makeup everywhere. She took a deep breath, and looked over the heads of every person in the room.
"Okay, I'm Anna. Robin, she was my best friend. No, she was my sister. I loved her from the moment I met her," she croaked. Tears continued to slide down her cheeks as she read her written eulogy. She blinked a few more times and folded it up.
"Robin wanted me to eulogize, but you know what? None of you actually cared about her!" Anna shouted. "None of you even knew her. I didn't even know her as well as I thought I did. So, fuck this. Nobody cared about her, that's why she had to end it, you stupid bastards," Anna spat. She stormed off the stage, only to be gasped upon.
Every eyes was wide in surprise of Anna's blunt statements. The preacher took his place on the stage again and tried to calm down the offended attenders.
Anna leaned against the brick building and faced the road as cars whizzed by. I'm so alone, she thought. I can't handle this.
"Anna," a voice said quietly. She looked up and saw Oliver. A weak smile formed on his lips. He took a seat next to her and he put his arm around her, pulling her closer.
"Hi," she whispered.
"Nice, what you said in there," he applauded her.
Anna smiled, but she suddenly felt guilty.
"Oliver, I know this isn't the place or time, but I need to tell you something."
"If it's about Kellin, I already know. The bastard flaunted it the moment he stepped through the damned door," he said, hate filling his voice.
"I'm sorry," she cried. Silent sobs racked her throat, her best friend's death haunting her. She set her head on Oliver's shoulder, crying into his black jacket. The wind cooled their hot faces.
"Anna, darling, if it is alright with you, I'm willing to give us another chance. As long as there is no mistakes this time," Oliver said quietly.
Anna blinked, angry at Kellin and the world.
"I'm angry, Oli. You don't want to deal with me. I'm terrible. I am only going to push you away," she whispered.
Oliver looked into Anna's deep green eyes.
"I love you. I am willing to give us another chance whenever that may be. You don't have to make the decision now, just know that I will wait for you." With that, Oliver kissed Anna's forehead and stood up. He looked at her again, and walked towards his car in the parking lot.
Anna sat there, trouble filling her thoughts. I'm scared to get close, I hate being alone. That mantra stuck in her thoughts, she cried to herself as she sat on the sidewalk outside of her best friend's funeral.
