I smiled as I watch Captain Wang with Dao and Hua entering the main door of our palatial home inside the Wang estate.

"How is the coronation?" I asked my lover and children.

Today is the coronation of the new Emperor. A few months after the last Emperor's abdication, a new ruler was crowned today.

The whole Capital is alive with excitement. The new Emperor opened the gate of the Imperial Palace for the residents of the capital and the visiting citizen of the whole country to be able to see a glimpse of the new Emperor and his family.

Captain Wang, as a prized and decorated Defense General was invited to the coronation together with the twins who were also invited as a courtesy to Captain Wang.

I think I should start calling him General but for some sentimental reason, I cannot. For me, he will always be my Captain Wang. My first and only lover.

We have a strange set up here in the Wang Estate. Captain Wang is the head of our household. I am the estate manager, at least publicly. Inside the privacy of our home, I am Captain Wang's partner, lover, the manager of our home and in charge of raising the twin. I am their Father. Wang Dao and Wang Hua, now fourteen years old, are Captain Wang's children in his previous marriage. His wife, unfortunately, died while giving birth to the twins. I came into their lives when the twins were six.

But Captain Wang and I had a long history. We knew each other when I was still an assasin vent on revenge while Captain Wang is a captain in a military base where my targets are.

Long story short, I had my revenge but with prices that crippled and broke me. After seven long years of separation, Captain Wang and I reunited and the love we had still burned strong. Now, eight years later since we got back into each other's arms, we are living the life we always dreamed of having together.

Living in an estate, surrounded by walls to keep the outside world away and giving us our needed privacy. With the twins, our children.

This perfect life we have, we do everything to protect it.

I can truly say that I am happy now. Compared to the beginning of my life, the life I have now with Captain Wang and the twin is heaven.

This is my piece of Paradise.

I smiled at Hua who sat next to me on my left side. I am having an afternoon tea while reading the estate reports. Inside the estate, we have vegetable farms, orchards and livestocks. We are practically self sufficient here in the estate. We also deliver livestocks and vegetables and fruits in our stands in the market, that gave us extra profits.

The estate is flourishing. Everything is working according to my plans. I felt peace everytime I think that I am still using the strategic lessons my Uncle Shu taught me.

"Did you had a great time in the Palace?" I asked Hua. "How is the coronation?"

"Boring," instead of Hua, her twin brother, Dao, answered. "I almost fell asleep," he added.

I look at Captain Wang who sat on the chair next to my right. He shook his head, "I think you are wasting your time teaching Dao manners." He said grudgingly.

"Why?" I asked in surprise. "What did he do this time?"

"He yawned in front of everyone. Like a thousand times," Hua giggled before picking a piece of sticky rice cake and dipping it in raw honey. I smiled as I watched her eat it daintily.
