(WANG DAO)

My sister is being typically irritating. What? She wants me to stay back and shield her Prince while she will kill them all? All...I look at the men surrounding us who also looked puzzled at the fight going on in our group. There are about fifty of them.

Fifty against six is not a bad odd. Considering we have training. But this is not an ideal situation. But the probability to win or escape is there.

Yong and Manchu are good in swords. Prince Jin can fight decently. Prince Guo, I don't know that much about him, but I think he can defend himself too.

But Hua and I. Hua and I are trained to fight. I am not worried about that.

I just don't like it that Hua is thinking of her Prince's safety instead of thinking of her own safety. So I decided to look out for my sister's safety.

But Hua is being stubborn again. And deciding that she can take care of herself. And probably she thinks she can take care of us too.

I took a deep breath to calm myself. Yes, I will admit, I got angry when Hua started threatening my weapons, my beloves arsenals. But I have to calm down and handle her gently. You cannot win against Hua's stubbornness by being stubborn as well. No one can beat my sister's stubbornness.

But I can reason with her.

"Hua," I gently call her name. "How about YOU protect the Prince while Yong, Manchu and I handle this..." I smiled at her.

Hua squint her eyes on me, "How about staying out of my way and I won't tell Father where you are hiding the extra swords you purchased on one of Uncle Jiang's tradesmen?"

I clammed up. She is impossible. There is no reasoning with her.

I raised my hands, "Fine," I gestured at the men surrounding us, "They are all yours." I surrendered.

What? Hua is already threatening my swords, I have to give in. My swords are like my children. I have to protect them.

"Wait!" Prince Guo finally found his voice. "You will all let her fight?" Is this truly happening? "There are five young and abled men here, why are we letting a girl..."

"Stop," Prince Jin halted his brother's words. "Stop before you anger her," he added to Prince Guo who gave his brother an amazed look. "Prince Jin, why..."

"Just stop, Guo." Prince Jin put a restraining hand on his brother's chest. A wise decision because one more word and Prince Guo will be the first one Hua will put on the ground.

Prince Guo wanted to protest some more when someone from the men in black clothing stepped out, "Give us the Princes. We are the Palace guards..."

"Stop talking," Hua cut his words. In a blink of an eye, my sister produced her curved blade. I took a step back away from my sister, that weapon of her is deadly. When Hua hold that blade, it means that my sister is serious to fight to death. It became more evident by her next words. "If you want them, come here and try getting them."

I took another step back, "Protect the Princes. At all cost," I said, talking to Yong and Manchu.

Manchu's blade flashed, "That has always been the plan. You just want to bicker with Lady Hua and lose..."

I rolled my eyes. I saw Prince Guo giving me a look that said he still cannot believe that we are letting Hua fight.

He will learn soon enough.
