"ENVY!" You shouted as you ran to your boyfriend. You smiled and enveloped him in a hug which was quickly returned by him.

"Hey (Y/N), I've missed you too." He laughed and smiled at you softly. He pulled you close and stroked your hair. Lucky. That's what he was. He was lucky to have you. Because of you, he was alive and...he was happy. This wasn't like the happiness he felt when he killed people. That was more like a rush of pride and pleasure. No, this was true happiness and he was grateful for it. You made him happy. "I wish I could have gone with you."

"I do too. At least I'm back!" You said happily.

You had just returned from a trip to visit Edward, Alphonse, and Winry in Resembool. You had made Envy stay in Central because you didn't want him to end up fighting with Edward. Even though you knew it was better that he had stayed, you so desperately wished he had gone. You hated being away from him. Even though most of your friends accepted Envy as he has promised to change and try to be good, some of your friends and many of the citizens didn't trust him. To them, he was still a monster. He was a killer.

You looked up at Envy and gave him a small, quick kiss. People stared as they passed by you two. Their faces changed into expressions of disgust and hatred. People in groups of two or more would whisper. The disapproval and hatred of these people was clear to Envy, he sensed it. To reply to the strangers' judgements, he smirked and moved his hands to your hips then kissed you deeply and passionately, expressing all the love he felt for you. You happily kissed back. He broke the kiss after a few moments and leaned in close to your ear.

"You are mine." He smirked. Envy pulled away from your ears then gave you a cute, innocent smile. You giggled and kissed his cheek.

"Yours." You replied with a sweet smile.

"Ice cream?" Envy suggested, a hopeful tone lacing his words. You nodded and giggled. Envy's smile grew and he took your hand and started pulling you off to the ice cream shop.

The two of you walked through town, holding hands tightly. His hand was warm. You looked down at your hands and smiled. You had wanted this for so long and now you had it. Everything felt right. Even if people disapproved of you dating him, you didn't care. You knew better, Envy was good now. He wouldn't hurt you and he wouldn't hurt others because of you. You were his weak spot. If it wasn't for you, Envy wouldn't care one bit. He was soft for you, he would do anything to make you happy. No one else in existence was this special to him. You were the only one who truly mattered to him. He never wanted to hurt you or lose you.

Others could not understand this, they didn't know what it felt like. They saw him as nothing but a monster and a killer. He was sadistic and cruel. Knowing that others saw him like this made you sad at first, but you slowly stopped caring. You'd still get angry at anyone who dared to say it, but you didn't care if they thought it. You knew better and you were also lucky. You had the pleasure of truly knowing him and being by his side. Others would never get to experience this because they were too narrow minded to know that he is better than just a monster. Yes, you were lucky. You got the pleasure of his company and you got all his love. You kissed his cheek and smiled.

"I love you."

Envy smiled and replied, "I love you too."

Finally, you reached the ice cream shop. You shooed him away to get a table while you ordered the ice cream. You smirked, knowing exactly what he wanted. Chocolate! His favorite thing. Envy hadn't told you how much he liked chocolate, but you could tell. He was pretty obvious about it. When you passed by any place that sold chocolate, Envy would stare at the delicious treats and drool a little. Plus, he always begged for chocolate ice cream which you never let him have. You always pushed him to try new flavours. He was cute when he was disappointed. He would always pout like a child in an attempt to make you give in and get him the chocolate. You could easily resist it though. However, he would always "punish" you for it later and you'd usually have to do whatever HE wanted. This time was different. You ordered (ice cream flavour) and a chocolate. You thought it was about time he got rewarded especially since you had been away from him. It was a celebration!

Envy admired you with a sly smirk, leaning back in his chair. You were his and only his. He loved you for everything. He loved the way you walked and the way you talked. He loved your sweet smile and your soft voice. He adored your body and all your beauty. You were perfect to him.

Never had he ever felt this way before. It was different, very different, but he still liked it. You made him feel love and he didn't mind it one bit. Months ago, Envy would have detested even the thought of love. He would have scoffed at it and would have hated it, claiming he didn't feel love, but now...he cherished it. He loved every moment he got to spend with you. He didn't care that you were a human. If he had denied love just because you were a human then he'd be no better than the ones who hate your love just because he's a Homunculus.

Envy's smirk grew as he saw you walking over with the ice creams. Envy's smirk quickly shifted into a childish smile as his eyes landed on the cone of chocolate in your hand. He eagerly reached for it only for you to pull it away from him with an amused smirk. Envy instantly pouted and you couldn't help but laugh at how adorable he was. He hid a smile. Your laugh was adorable and it always brightened his day to hear it.

"Say please." You mused with a grin.

"Please." Envy gave you the cutest puppy dog eyes in the world. You laughed and handed him the chocolate ice cream. "HA! I knew you couldn't resist these adorable eyes!" He smirked as he began eating the ice cream. You rolled your eyes and ate your ice cream. Little did you know, people were staring especially one person in particular. Neither you nor Envy noticed any of the stares especially the stare from a pair of odd colored eyes. An uncommon color. The two of you didn't care enough to notice. You were both lost in conversation as you chowed down on your ice cream. The world faded away and created the perfect moment. Just the two of you and that's all that mattered.
