Dream Come True (Envy x Reader)

"Hey! Get up!" You heard Envy whisper. You whimpered and rolled onto your other side. "(Y/N)!"

"Let me sleep..." You whined sleepily. You didn't know what time it was. You opened your eyes and looked at the clock. It had been turned off. "What time is it?" You stretched and yawned.

"Not important. Come with me." Envy said.

"Palm tree..." You whined loudly.

"Up!" Envy rolled you off the bed. Panic flooded your senses as you fell and landed with a thud. You groaned and sighed. "Come on. Get dressed, you'll probably think it's cold." Envy commanded.

You pushed yourself up and yawned. You got up and got dressed quickly. Envy guided you out since you were still half asleep.

After walking for a while, Envy blindfolds you and picks you up bridal style.

"H-hey!" You said. "Are you kidnapping me?"

"We live together, genius. I can't kidnap you." Envy says. You laugh a little.

Envy ended up carrying you the rest of the way to wherever it was he was taking you. You snuggled in closer to him as a cold breeze blew by. You shivered slightly and he held you closer.

"Don't worry, I'll keep you warm." You smile softly at his words. You knew he'd always protect you. Always. That meant forever. Could he protect you forever? And who would he protect when you were gone? You whimpered softly and quickly pushed those thoughts away. You didn't want to think about that.

Envy finally stopped walking and put you down. It felt like it had been forever to you! He took the blindfold off and you smiled. There was a small blanket laid out atop a clifftop. There was a small romantic picnic basket which you both enjoyed. After the picnic, you both laid down on the blanket and gazed at the stars. Envy took your hand and you smiled really wide.

Above you, hundreds of stars shined brightly. Some shined brighter than others, but they all were bright to you. You smiled at the dark sky that lay above you. It was beautiful. You became lost in the night sky. Little did you know that Envy wasn't enjoying the sight of the stars, but the sight of you. He stared at you and thought about everything that happened.

Envy remembered, most of all, the time you saved his life. That one moment where you did everything you could to save him. He smiled at the memory. He hated humans still, but you were the exception. To him, the stars couldn't compare. Your smile, you in general, was the brightest thing he had ever seen. He laughed a little. He thought it foolish for a human to ever love him, but here he was, on a date with a human and just as much in love with them as they were with him. He moved closer then gave you a kiss on the cheek. You looked over at him with a small.

"And what was that for?" You asked, very amused.

"Nothing. You're just really beautiful. I couldn't resist." He said with a sly smirk. You laughed and went back to looking at the stars. His smirk turned into a soft smile. I love you. You're everything I never knew I needed. Envy thought with a loving smile. You were all his and that's exactly how he wanted it to always be.
