It had been hours. Was Envy okay? You didn't know. You hadn't been allowed in. You could barely even think straight, your mind flooded with worry and all kinds of thoughts. The soldiers hadn't let you go see Envy. You were now in your car, sitting and doing nothing. You had no idea what to do now. You just felt blank. It was so overwhelming. You couldn't even cry. You were just so confused and lost. How could this happen?

You thought back to when Envy had been arrested. After he had gone, you had fallen to your knees and cried. You had been alone, holding yourself until that strange boy came up to you. He had asked you out. You had just looked at him as he offered his hand to you, tears still running down your face. You had smacked his hand away, but couldn't bring yourself to get up from your knees and leave. The boy had been very nice though. Instead of getting upset, he seemed to understand. He had sat down next to you and hugged you. He had held you close to his chest and comforted you as you cried until you couldn't cry anymore. After you finished crying, the boy had helped you up and walked with you to your car. You remember seeing him still standing there as you drove away to go visit Envy.

If only you had been able to visit Envy. It wasn't allowed. They kept you away from your boyfriend. Tears welled up in your eyes again at the thought. You hit the steering wheel in frustration as tears began rolling down your cheeks again. It wasn't fair! Envy wasn't a killer anymore! He had changed! There was no way he'd kill anybody!! Besides, he was almost constantly with you! Except...except for those few times he had disappeared and left you with no explanation. But...but that didn't mean that he was the killer! No. No! He couldn't be!

Tap tap tap. You jumped at the sound of someone tapping on your window. You looked and saw a soldier there. You rolled down your window.

"You're (Y/N) (L/N), right?" He asked. "Envy's supposed girlfriend." Then he muttered, "more like hostage. I'm sure he's abusing her."

"Yes, I am his girlfriend and he is not abusing me." You glared at the soldier. How dare he. Envy is not abusive. He's completely the opposite of abusive.

"Come with me." The soldier instructed.

You got out of the car and walked with him. The soldier led you into the building that you had previously been denied access into. As he peed you through it, you searched for any sign of Envy. Nothing though. Then the soldier led you to a room and opened the door for you. You walked in it and looked around. A man sat at a table with two chairs, a folder in front of him. An empty chair across from him sat there, waiting for you. There was a mirror there, but from the looks of it, it was probably a two-way mirror. You knew what this was. This was an interrogation room. This wasn't good. Not good at all.
