Toothless kept his whole body still in the makeshift portable cage he now found himself in. His head was down so his eyes were gazing at the dull wood beneath him and the only thing that was keeping him aware of his surroundings was the rocking of the large ship and the murmur of the Vikings on board that same ship he was on. Hard to imagine that only a few hours ago, he was relaxing in the cove sitting close to Hiccup. It was the one of the few peaceful moments they could have together and now, here he was, trapped on a ship being forced to take these Vikings to the location of the nest. Toothless didn't actually care about what happens to the nest, not that he really needed to because when he could already predict the outcome, and he hardly cared about the Vikings that were foolishly risking their lives anyway. The only thing that made him care about all this was the fact that he was forcefully being used and that they had hurt Hiccup in the process to get him.

He could vividly replay how that sword impaled Hiccup's left arm and sent the inferno collapsing to the ground. Hiccup's cries of pain when they held him back by his injured and broken arms. The insensitivity of it all was enough for Toothless break through the chains that kept him shackled to the cage as they were transporting him to the ships. However, there were even more Vikings near the ships and collectively, they managed to imprison him again. This time with a bulkier wooden and metal collar that chained him securely to the platform. He remembered struggling until his eyes met those of a Viking with a huge flaming red beard. He recognised him. Hiccup's father.

"Lead us home,"

That was what he said to him before not even looking at him throughout the entire journey and stood at the front of the ship. At least, as far as he was concerned.

He wondered if Hiccup would be coming to rescue him. Not that he hadn't been captured before, but Hiccup always seemed to be able to come back to him, no matter what condition he was in. Toothless often played them and thought of them as acts of foolishness because Hiccup should've been tending to his wounds instead of worrying about him, but he was always grateful. This time would be no different. Toothless wasn't expecting Hiccup to make it here in time to get him out of here, but he figured he would come. He knew he would if Hiccup was in danger.

Still looking down and his ears still slack, Toothless was just overhearing on Stoick conversation with another Viking he didn't know the voice of. He was essentially trying to ask him what the plan was and trying to play it off like it was coming from someone else, which made Toothless roll his eyes. Couldn't he just ask him?

Suddenly, the sound of the conversation became faint when another voice entered his head. The call.

Subconsciously, Toothless' little sensory spines fluttered and twitch, and Stoick paused his conversation with Gobber to look closely at the Night Fury. It was clearly picking up something, and from what he was told, wherever this dragon wants to go, that'll be where he'll find the source of Berk's main problem.

Walking over to the Vikings who was steering the ship, Stoick shoved himself aside quickly.

"Step aside," Once he was in control of the boat, Toothless stood up straight from the crouched position he was in a second ago. His head turned to the right. Stoick steered the boat right. Toothless' head went left. Stoick steered the boat left. And everyone else on the ships was just watching as their chief guided them through the sea stacks that held the shipwrecks of many of their failed missions in the past. The boats bumped into a few of those sea stacks along the way due to the fog that concealed them from view, but no one really minded as they were all focused on the multiple shipwrecks that were strewn everywhere.

"Oh...I was wondering where that went," Gobber said as the ships passed by a shipwreck that was hanging down from its ropes with the head of the ship protruding from the fog. It reminded some Vikings of dead corpses after they had been hung, only they weren't left to continue hanging from their noose. The ships continued with silence amongst the Vikings. They were now sailing into uncharted territory. Although most of them had been on this trip many times, no one recognised where they were, and for Stoick, this was a hopeful sign. This could be it.
