Toothless glided silently with the moderate air currents supporting his large wings with the tips at the far end of them wavering slightly with the movement of the wind. He was position near the cloud cover with his paws sometimes brushing against the wispy cloud while everyone else was at a higher altitude. Despite it being night, visibility wasnt too bad, maybe because nothing was blocking the light from the moon and stars. The sky provided such a view, and no one could deny that they were captivated by, but with the responsibility of their job at hand, it was hard to enjoy it.

As they approached closer to their destination, Toothless would stick his head through the cloud cover and use his echolocation to see where exactly they were, which resulted in the result mainly being open ocean with some ships, but he would pick up on islands and/or sea stacks down below which did tell him where they were in the open. Now, he could just dive underneath the cloud cover so he could see with his own two eyes where they were, however, because they were all close to enemy waters and boarders, most were keen on keeping their presence a secret to avoid any unnecessarily conflict. Now was one of those times where Toothless would use his echolocation abilities to get updates while conversations took place behind him.

"So, I never got a clear answer for this, but how dangerous is this base?" Snotlout asked. Most people rolled their eyes at the question, and at the tone of his voice. Although some information wasn't disclosed to the gang about every single detail about the base, it didn't take a genius to put two and two together. This place would be immensely dangerous. But then again, Snotlout was no genius.

"I have high expectations on this one," Ruff said.

"Yeah, I'm thinking thousands of weapons like catapults, flaming arrows and boulders, you know, traditional weapons," Tuff followed on, "Ooh! Maybe even a ballista,"

"'I'm sure they have plenty of those," Of course, no one really expected anything else from the twins, seeing as they were always the ones to look out for a dangerous situation to get themselves into, but no one was none the less annoyed either way. Particularly Hiccup, Heather, Dagur and their dragons, who were all to familiar with the seriously tiny margin between life and death when it came to these places. Striker was arguably the most triggered for he looked like he could electrocute them if the circumstances allowed it. After suffered from a near fatal injury to his right wing caused by a ballista, he was well aware as to what a ballista could do. He couldn't even move his right wing for months, let alone fly. Even to this day, it would sometimes cause enough discomfort to make him cave in and most move it.

"What could actually happen to us if we do get caught out?" Fishlegs asked, "I know the answer may be obvious, but just so I know, for my own comfort,"

"I don't think comfort is the right word to describe your inevitable reaction," Heather responded, "if you do get captured, it'll be obvious to everyone that you're working with us, so theyll kill you," Heather was right. Comfort was the last think he was feeling, from the answer and Heather's bluntness. It almost unsettled him. This wasn't the way she usually was, and he knew this for a fact. But he certainly didn't blame her for it. She plus Hiccup and Dagur looked on edge, Hiccup in particular. He hadn't anything while they were at the Edge after he had shared his plan and very few words came out of his mouth while they were flying, and they had been travelling for almost three days.

"Just make sure you don't get caught," Dagur said.

"As oppose to any other mission," Snotlout commented. And to interrupt the conversation going on behind them, when the plasma waves returned to Toothless' senses, he growled and tilted his head down to the cloud cover.

"We here, Toothless?" Hiccup asked, and in response, Toothless growled once more. "Okay, gang. Were here. You guys remember the plan?" Everyone else halted in their flight and nodded. "Good, and remember, this place will be crawling with guards, so our number one priority if making sure we don't attract too much attention,"
