"Do you think Hiccup and Snotlout are going to be okay? As well as Toothless and Hookfang?" Meatlug asked as the squad of dragons hovered over the ocean surface near to the island they had landed on. It was just the dragons that were out and about for now. Their riders were still asleep by the time that had woken up and they had decided to let them rest for some for time while they got and hunt for some food.

As for Meatlug's questions, the other dragons were uncertain and Striker, Windshear and Sleuther glanced at each other with fearful expressions. Like their riders, they too knew what was going to happen and what affect it would have onto the two captive riders and Toothless and Hookfang. They weren't completely sure how Hookfang would take it, but the two dragons were sure it was going to be similar to Toothless. The Night Fury was completely agitated for a good number of days after he had been rescued. He was only relatively calm around Hiccup and Striker. If it were anyone else, he would always be in a defensive stance, whether it was physically or mentally. It took almost a couple of weeks for Toothless to finally be comfortable around Sleuther and Windshear in the same way he was around Hiccup and Striker.

But none of them said anything about what they knew. It wasn't something they liked to talk about and for now, no one seemed to direct any questions to them, so they just kept their eyes down on the ocean surface. Peering through the water so see if there were any shoals of fish lurking around within their reach.

"I'm sure they're going to be fine," Fanghook responded, "they've been captured before. All of us have. What's going to make this one any different?" Despite his words, everyone, including the Monstrous Nightmare himself was uncertain. Every single one of them was apprehensive and agitated, and the tension surrounding them prevented anyone from saying anything else, so they just focused on hunting down some breakfast. Barf and Belch and Fanghook dived into the frigid ocean and submerged themselves deep into the water to find and force some shoals of fish up to the surface where they were more easily accessible for Stormfly, Meatlug and Striker, who skimmed the surface of the water with their jaws open and just dipped into the water so whatever fish were there could accumulate into their mouths.

However, they didn't have much luck. They could barely catch enough fish to support their riders, let alone themselves and the Zippleback and Monstrous Nightmare had resurfaced a few times for air before diving back down. Obviously, it would be slightly frequent for them because none of them were suited for the water, but Striker found a better way to bring fish up to the surface.

"Hey, guys, clear out," he said when Barf and Belch and Fanghook resurfaced again.

"What? Why?" Belch asked, but no other questions were asked when Striker shot a burst of lightning towards the water surface. The impact was nowhere near them, but even still, they felt a shock shoot through their bodies a few seconds later and immediately shot out of the water, screeching at the sudden and unexpected feeling.

"What was that?!" Fanghook exclaimed, but Striker paid no attention to them when the shapes of fish of all sizes began to appear on the surface for an easy grab.

"Simple," he said before flying down and in a few seconds, he was swallowed around ten. The other dragons didn't question and did the same thing, although Barf and Belch and Fanghook were still a little disgruntled about the recent event. After the dragons had their fill, they returned to their riders with a few fish dangling by the tail in between their clamped jaws and dropped them in a pile near the riders. It wasn't too big a pile, as the dragons knew the riders ate no where near as much compared to them. Sometimes they thought they were eating far too little, but then they had to remember. They were humans. Not dragons.

They were greeted, of course, and none of the riders responded with worried reactions. When they woke up and noticed that their dragons weren't with them, originally, they were concerned and frantically looking for them, though the island was quite bare, so there weren't that many places to look. But soon, they noticed their dragons flying back to them and immediately relaxed. They figured that they would be out hunting for food. So when the dragons did land near them, they heated up the fish using their dragons fire and began to eat.
