"I don't get it, what the hell did I do?"

The drama club had decided that they wanted to begin preparing for the fall production that afternoon, leaving Luna and 30 other people in the auditorium for an hour. With June quickly approaching, and the departure of President Doug, they needed to get this done as soon as possible with his seal of approval, as a final act of President. Though, as much as she loved the theater, she wanted to be anywhere but there that afternoon.

The last few periods after her encounter with Peter were spent trying to pinpoint the exact moment Peter Parker grew to resent her. It got to the point where she'd considered asking Ned of the issue, but decided against it, as it may look bad on his part if he actually told her. Now she was lying on the stage, Doug writing notes while Luna continued to ramble.

"I'm not a bad person, am I?" She sighed, her head turning to the side to look at Doug.

Doug looked up from his book, shaking his head at her question. She knew he'd only heard bits and pieces of her rambling, he was far too busy to listen to her venting, but at least he did a good job at pretending to listen. "How do you feel about Romeo and Juliet?" Luna's face immediately scrunched up in distaste, and Doug nodded. "Right, I was thinking the same thing," he muttered, scratching out the play from his list. "I've narrowed it down to Little Shop of Horrors and Young Frankenstein."

Luna sat up, thinking for a moment before deciding, "Little Shop of Horrors. Comedic, teaches a life lesson, and offers minimal romance." Doug nodded, writing on his paper once more, Luna watching quietly. He lifted his head with a smile on his face, holding out the book for her. Her eyebrows knitted together in confusion, "You want me to announce it?"

He nodded, a sheepish smile settling on his lips. "Of course, I mean, you're gonna be the one in charge of it." It took a good few seconds for realization to settle in, but when it did, her eyes widened. She didn't hesitate to throw herself onto Doug, a laugh escaping the senior as she hugged him tightly.

"Doug, I love you," She wailed, highly aware of her fellow actors turning to look at them. "I mean it, you're the best."

"I don't think Danielle would approve of that," Doug teased, lightly pushing away Luna with a grin. He stood up, offering Luna a hand, who took it eagerly. "Alright guys, all eyes here." She didn't expect it, but the group took their announcement really well. They clapped loudly as Doug announced Luna would be taking over his role, Mr.Warren watching with a smile. She was smothered in hugs when she stepped down from the stage, her hands shaking with excitement.
