Fast forward to 2011....
“Hoy Sarah! Help naman with IV insertion...bilis!”
“Huh?? Ah, Oo. Asan na yung IV cannula?” At dali-daling inabot sa kanya ang needle.
Nagulat siya na naipasok agad niya in one try considering she was also in a state of disbelief, shock and fear.
It was the first time since that summer that he has seen him in person. They never talked since then and yes, he was an actor now but she tried not to keep tabs on him.

May kirot na hindi nawawala everytime Sarah thought of him.
She was helping out and doing her job but she was also trying her damnest to keep herself together. There was blood everywhere. The surgeon suspected that there was an internal organ damage because his vital signs were unstable. He was unconscious. Her heart was breaking as each minute ticked by that he wasn’t waking up.
May sumigaw na doctor ng “CT scan na tapos kailangan na syang ipasok sa OR! Or we’ll lose him”
Lose him? How can someone lose something she never had? As they hurriedly wheeled him out of the ER, Sarah just stood while looking out.
Tears, which she tried to bottle down, welled up.
Her throat felt tight and her hands were shaking.
And then she broke down and cried as memories rushed back...
