Sarah was driving to the hospital to be with Gerald. Deep in thought over her conversation with her dad that morning when she heard her phone beep.
From Gerald: Babe, what time will u get here? Today daw discharge ko. How much do you charge for private servicing at home? ; )
Natawang sumagot si Sarah.
From Sarah: Depends on the service. ; ) I love you babe! Going there na.
After a few minutes...
From Gerald: Can't wait! Btw, heads up, may press dito ha? Ate Nhila's here, pasok ka lang if I'm being interviewed pa. We haven't talked about this thing called showbiz.
Napabuntong hinga si Sarah. Sinabi sa sarili, "Why can't things be simpler?!!!!! " She then replied...
From Sarah: Getting anxious babe. I'll suck it up, don't worry. We do have to talk. Ako din may sasabihin. See you in a bit!
From Gerald: Don't be. We'll work it out. Just don't give up that easily okay? I love you more than you can ever imagine.

Meanwhile, back at the hospital, the staff were busy accommodating a handful of press people who requested Gerald's talent agency a few minutes for press/media coverage. The news of his accident rocked the showbiz world as thousands of fans couldn't believe the accident which almost cost his life. Gerald's close circle were successful in keeping him stress free as he recuperated but they knew he had to face questions from the press sooner or later. Before they let some trusted press people in, Nhila briefed Gerald on some news going around. They were in the inner room of the suite habang ang mommy ni Gerald at si Dennis, kanyang personal assistant, ay busy sa pag-ayos ng mga gamit na iuuwi.
" So Ge, ang na-invite namin ay 'yung madaling pakiusapan ha? Sina..." As Nhila mentioned names of people who somehow were kind enough to get his side when showbiz gets tough on him. "Ito, may blind item na lumabas na before your accident, you were seen sa parking lot ng isang bar fighting with Jessy. She hasn't said anything yet at swerte na she's on tour sa Europe. They're implying na buntis siya and nag-decide kayo na..ano..."
"Ipa-abort?!!!" Gerald almost shouted as Nhila nodded. "Grabe naman 'yan! Ang layo na nang inabot ng balita na 'yan!"
"Basta, expect mo na baka maitanong sa 'yo. Kalma ka lang."
Paalis na si Nhila para ihanda ang press sa labas nang tawagin ni Gerald ito. "Ate! Ikaw muna bahala kay Sarah ha? Padating na daw eh. Baka kase di ko sya maasikaso agad."
"Okay!"
Paglabas ni Nhila, lumapit ang kanyang ina, "Heraldo! Ano yung narinig ko kanina sa inyo ni Jessy?"
"Mom, 'di ko pa nasasabi sa 'yo but we broke up before my accident. May chismis going around that she's pregnant and she's in Europe to have it removed. Sigurado ako na walang buntisan na nangyari kaya don't worry mom"
"Naku anak! Siguraduhin mo lang. Okay lang sa 'kin magka-anak ka pero wag naman sana doon!"
"Mom! May press! Baka marinig ka at ma-headline ka pa." Natatawang sabi ni Gerald sa ina. "And if you must know, nagkabalikan na kami ni Sarah."
"Alam mo anak, gusto ko 'yan si Sarah mo. Simple, mabait, maganda...napatunayan ko naman 'yan sa pagtulong niya sa akin nung mahina ka pa. Pero sana 'di ka na masaktan. It was painful seeing you that way for a long time.."
Kinuha ni Gerald ang kamay ng ina as if reassuring her and said,
"Nagkausap na kami mom and I understand her reasons. Sana nga hindi na pero I'm more afraid imagining what life would be like without her."
