Because the only purpose I have is to follow Father's orders. I'm not supposed to leave him. It's not like it matters much anyway. I'm not human. I don't have a life of my own. It's basically true when they say I'm useless. I'm just a puppet in a way. Besides, it was fun getting to kill for Father and starting the Ishvalan War was fun! It never mattered if he mentally abused me or not. It only mattered that we did what we were told. Not like anyone cared about me anyway. If I tried to live normally then I'd just be hated because I'm not human. I don't want to be human anyway.
