A/N: And so, here's another thingy. This took my like 9 years to type out and I thought it was longer than 3808 words, but apparently not. WhoOps

Jay was yelling 'WHOOO-HOOO-HOOO-HOOOO!!!' in glee, like, right in Lizz's ear. As much as she was enjoying the amped up speed of Zane's mech and all, she wasn't quite enjoying Jay making her hearing go completely.

"It's like..." Kai was struggling to find words, "Your possession has given Zane's mech... boosters!"

"Boosters?" Cole was on the navigation screen in front of Zane, and he didn't look amused, "Is that some sort of ghost joke?"

Kai only laughed in a response, "Glad to see your sense of humour hasn't changed."

Jay started whooping again, and Lizz was tempted to shove him off the mech's shoulder; it'd make more room for her, really. But she didn't have any time because suddenly Cole was scaling the side of the mountain like a rock wall, the claws of Zane's mech digging into the rock like it was clay, "Whoa, Cole!" Lizz reached out her good arm to stabilize herself, "You've turned it into a spider-mech!"

"Hey-hey!" Cole laughed, "She's not scared'a me!"

"Don't get ahead'a yourself," she shivered, "I'm still scared'a you."

"Y'know what? It's a start and I'll take it," Cole amended, "And aside from that downside, this ghost thing isn't really that bad, after all."

The climbing continued going smoothly, with little conversation between them, and soon they were approaching an overhanging porch of some sort, "What?" Lizz quirked an eyebrow, though her tone suggested more irritation than confusion.

"The Hanging Temple," Kai announced, "That means we're not far."

Just at that moment, something began whizzing through the air towards them, making a beeline for Kai, "Incoming!" Jay shouted. Only when it hit Kai square in the chest was it identified as a ghostly green arrow.

Kai fell backwards, his limp body draped over the mech's shoulder like a dishtowel. There was a distraught chorus that yelled out for Kai -- complete with Jay holding his head and whimpering "no... no, no, no!" repeatedly -- before Kai grunted, shook his head to clear it, and sat up. He propped himself up on his elbows, feeling himself, "The amour! It really works!" he looked at the others, "I didn't turn into a ghost!"

"Thank God for that," Lizz let out the breath she didn't know she was holding in, and it turned into a squeak when she looked up and saw Nya's eerie green Samurai X suit peering down at them over the edge of the porch of The Hanging Temple.

Before anyone really quite noticed it, though, two grappling hands had shot down from it and grabbed Zane's mech by the shoulders, reeling the Ninja in. Luckily, Morro turned and dumped the mech on the pathway instead of off the edge of the mountain like Lizz thought he would do.

Cole was the first one sitting upright, having unpossessed the mech, "Morro's getting away!"

Another ghost -- a girl -- floated over to block the Ninja's path as soon as they'd all stood to go after Morro, "And you're not!" she hissed, right before letting out the most horrific shriek ever.

Lizz immediately knew it was some type of banshee, a wailing spirit. The boys were all yelling and covering their ears in pain as her pitch got higher and higher. Lizz, however, was more or less unaffected by the banshee's screams; that's what years upon years of really loud music will do to your hearing. Yes, Lizz was wincing, and covering her ears, but she wasn't completely incapacitated like the boys were.
