I watch her, she is surrounded by her friends.
Her perfect blonde hair up in a classic ponytail, her beautiful green eyes have so little mascara on her long lashes but she doesn't need it and her pink lips have just a touch of lipgloss on.
We used to be the best of friends, me and her... But something changed, I love her and she loves him, the impossible triangle.
She is the perfect girl next door and I'm the loner outsider from the wrong side of the tracks.
She deserves him, he is the perfect boy next door and I am no one to her.
She glances over at me while I'm hunched over my computer, I avert my eyes quickly but she caught me staring at her, crap.
She says something to her friends and begins walking towards me.
I fix my crown beanie that I have worn since I was little.
Before I realize it, She is standing right in front of me "Hi, Juggie" She says, I smile at the nickname.
"Hey Betts" I reply. Betty sits down across from me "How are you?" She asks.
"I'm fine, How are you?"
'why is she talking to me?' I think.
"I'm good," She says with a brilliant smile that shows off her perfectly white teeth.
God, everything about her is so perfect.
"Betty!" I hear her best friend, Veronica calling her back over to the table she previously sat at
"No, It's ok! I'm gonna sit here with Juggie" She yells back
"Not to be rude but why are you talking to me?" I ask apprehensively.
She looks taken aback "Can't I talk to my best friend?" She says giggling.
Even her giggle was perfect
"Ok, but, Betty, you haven't talked to me in like six months. I was just wondering the sudden interest in me. Now dont get me wrong, I dont mind" I say sarcastically.
"I dont know... I guess I just missed you" She replies, turning a light shade of pink.
"Hows Archie?" I ask, Archie and Betty have been dating for a couple months now and it kinda sucks watching them be all couply all the time.
"Oh... He's ok but I dont think its gonna work..." She says slowly.
"Oh, that sucks" I suppress a smile.
'They were never good together' I think.
"Juggie" Betty's voice breaks my train of thought "Do you wanna catch up at Pops after school?"
"Umm... Sure..." I reply.
I hear the loud noise of the bell signaling the end of lunch. "Bye, Juggie! See you later!" Betty stands, turns on her heels and runs toward Veronica, her ponytail bobbing behind her.
I smile to myself 'Betty Cooper... She is amazing.'
