Just Like Glass ~ Bughead Oneshots ~

This is it (part one)

I take a deep breath as I look at myself in the mirror "Relax Betty... You look beautiful. Jughead loves you" Veronica says, trying to calm my nerves

 "I know, but it's my wedding day. I don't know how to feel, excited or nervous" I reply. 

I turn back to the mirror and stare at my dress.

 It's a strapless, long, white dress with a sweetheart neckline. It's so beautiful.

The door opens and Kevin is standing in the doorway "BETTTTTTYYYYYY! YOU LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL" He screams excitedly. "Thanks, Kev" I smile.

"Ok... Since you both are here now" I say as Kevin sits down beside Veronica "I have something to tell you"

 Veronica glances down at my stomach then makes eye contact with me "You are not! Are you!?!" She squeals. 

"I'm pregnant!" I say as I lay my hand on my stomach

"I KNEW IT!" Veronica and Kevin both screams, jumping up and down.

 "I would prefer if you didn't tell Jughead until after the wedding" I laugh.

 "How are you gonna tell him?!?" Kevin asks. 

"I bought a shirt that says 'Gonna be a dad' and since his birthday is in a couple weeks, I'm going to do it then!" I smile, picturing his reaction in my head.

 "Awww, that's going to be adorable! Please record it, I wanna see" Veronica says.

My mom walks in a short while later "Betty," She says "It's time" I take a deep breath in

 "You ready?" Veronica asks me.

 "As ready as I'll ever be" I smile and walk out of the room.

I hear the Wedding March starts and Veronica, being my maid of honor, walks down the aisle first, then Polly, then Cheryl, Polly somehow convinced me to make Cheryl one of my bride's maids. 

Finally, it's my turn, everybody stands as I begin walking, I see Jughead at the altar and his face lights up as he sees me. I finally make it to the altar and stand across from Jughead.

 "Dearly Beloved..."
