"Welcome to Riverdale High, I'm Veronica Lodge," She said to the new girl. She'd given these tours multiple times and it was always the same routine, give them the tour, take them to their class, never talk to them again. "And you are?" she asked, raising her eyebrows
"Betty Cooper. I-I just moved here from New York" The girl, Betty said timidly
"Ok, Betty, Let's go" She sighed, she hated giving these tours. She started walking away, Betty quickly followed her.
They walked around the school, Veronica pointing things out and Betty nodding and following her.
Finally, they made it to Betty's classroom "Ok, nice meeting you" Veronica said and left. Betty took a deep breath before walking into the classroom.
The teacher looked over at her "Ah our new student! Could you please introduce yourself to the class?" He asked, his name on the board read 'Mr. Smith'
"Ok... I'm Betty Cooper, I just moved here from New York and I like to write" The blonde haired girl said
"Well, it's nice to have you here, Betty! There's an open seat in front of Mr. Jones"
She nodded and took her seat
The boy behind her, Jughead Jones, leaned forward "Welcome to Riverdale High" He said
"Thanks" She had replied, turning to face him, it was the first time she had really to looked at him. He had soft black curls hidden under a crown beanie, his eyes, a beautiful shade of light blue, a smirk on his lips.
"I'm Jughead Jones" He extended his hand.
She shook his hand "Betty Cooper"
"I know. You said it 6 minutes and 46 seconds ago" He hadn't broken eye contact with her, not even to look at the clock
"How do you know that?"
"Because it's now been 6 minutes and 59 seconds since you walked into my life and I have no intention of letting you walk out of it anytime soon. I have a feeling we're gonna be good friends"
