Betty Cooper had always been a quiet girl. She always did what she was told, never broke the rule. She was the perfect girl next door with her light blonde hair pulling up in a classic ponytail, and her brilliant emerald green eyes. Everyone loved her, she's Riverdale's resident good girl. Well, she was.

Jughead Jones had always been a strange one. He was the weirdo from the wrong side of the tracks. His photographic memory a blessing and a curse. His black curls were tucked under that crown beanie that he was known for, his light blue eyes glaring at everything. He's Riverdale's resident loner. Well he was.

Together they made the perfect storm. At first glance, nobody would ever see them together. She was good, he was bad. Never supposed to be together. But still, here they are, behind the school, knowing they shouldn't be doing this. She had Archie, the red headed boy next door that had asked her out soon after she arrived in our small town of Riverdale, of course she had said yes to the date. Finally, he, Jughead Jones, closed the space between them in a gentle kiss. Butterflies explode in Betty Cooper's stomach in love and excitement. Both afraid of being caught by Archie, Veronica, Kevin, a teacher, anyone. Yet they don't break the kiss. They knew it's wrong, but what were they supposed to do? This was True Love.

Nobody could tell them to stop. It wasn't how that worked, they needed each other. She taught him to be kind and compassionate and that being a loner wasn't everything and that he deserved happiness, and he taught her  to be daring and bold, that being perfect wasn't everything, that she could break free and be her own person. But most importantly, they taught each other to love
